Well new icc installed without a drama and from what I am seeing I may not have to get it recoded. Tried swapping the 6 stacker from my old unit to the new one but no go on powering it up. So I'm guessing that the problem is within the audio/cd area.

I brought one from fern tree. The ad said colour screen with single cd player. My plane jane 6 stacker unit has bit the dust.

Howdy all, Is it possible to take a single cd player out of a color screen icc and swap it with a 6 stacker from a standard screen icc?

Well yep it's dead, Something to do with the audio side of things that wipes out the whole console. Found a reco colour screen single cd, single zone for $800. Don't use the cd player anyway so that will do me.

Will try and get a mechanic to run a scan tool over it before I pull anything out.

Probably should of mentioned that all the buttons light up. So I gues you could say "The lights are on but no one home". 1 more night shift then I can pull it apart and see what I can see see see.

Morning gents. As the title goes, My icc has died, meaning my drives home after night shift are cold and quiet. Over the last week or 3 it has started to play up, As in everthing turning off(Radio and heater) and coming back on again soon after. It all stopped the other day and after I started the ute again later that day it was working again. But the other day it stopped working and has not came back to life. Checked the fuse panel and could not find and blown, But thinking that it has been coming on and off then it should not be a fuse. I still have a few night shifts to do so will pull it out and check plugs then, But I'm wondering if anyone could think of any other issue it could be? It is just a standard icc in a bf Mkii ute. Might have to convince the Mrs that it is dead and I will need a new one..............................Colour screen, DVD, Sat nav and computer upgrade aswell I think. :danced:

Haha Long time since I read this post. Well Kiddy is doing fine, Still married, Still have the.GULP.....CRUZE. But better stil....................I still have the ute and have been able to spend a coin or 2 on it, only to buy a new clutch and brake discs, but I'm working on future suff. As for the mondeo, after she drove one she now wants one. So my thoughts of a all ford family is starting to work, Already have the baby seat in the ute and I must say, each time I bring on the boost I lok at bub and she has the biggest smile on her face, I can see were she is heading. Anyway, still alive, still have the ute andlife is great.

Hey Guys, loooooooong time no post. Straight to the point, I had a bit of pain in the lower section of my man hood(ball sack) and kinda put up with it for a while, it was on and off. Well it started to become more of a day by day kinda thing for me, being at work driving the forklift around on a rough road did it for me. Anyway straight to the point. It felt like someone had kicked me in the nuts, so I went to the DOC to find out what the problem could be. Some of you guys may remember that I got married recently and had the holiday and what not, well yep she is preggas and yep I am out of a root.........................no other way to say it. Any way, after I had felt the pain that I did( like some one kicked me in the old fella) I got a bit worried and went to the doc. After the first check up it turns out I may have an infection in the part were the ball sack joins on to the semen tube..........I could probably draw you a picture , but I'm sure you can work it out. Owell, long time no post.............But thought I would chuck this this up being a male dominate sight. As it turns out I may be OK but I am only 32, so it makes you think. Welll, what can I say. Just found out a couple days ago that I am/might/maybe/probably a good f*cking chance that I am going to be a dad. Survived the trip to fiji and the following months when life got back to normal,(getting married after 10 years together aint like a first date) so now we have this package to play with. So I suppose what I am trying to say is, the whole plan I had for the ute has kinda turned to buying a station wagon. Like f*cking hell. Got the missus to advertise the WRX and went and brought a (GULP) Expensive Daewoo cruze. Like the ute was ever going to be sold. So know I have a problem. Do I put the ute in the shed and play with it and buy a datsun 120Y for work, or do I just keep driving it as is until I can persuaded her that the best thing I should do is keep buying little things($300 here $300 there) and then get an upgrade done all at once. Well that's what I thought until mother spied the NEW Expensive Daewoo cruze. So you can guess what our third car is now. I tried to sell her on the Xr5T, but being a hatch she would not bite. So.............I have3 vehicles in the driveway and only 1 worth driving. Anyone want to buy a future rally car? + a Expensive Daewoo test car, but be warned.................you could run faster.... Anyway.....I'm back and survived the great wedding, married, kid on the way and no talk of getting rid of the ute.................................Gotta love it

not really, just depends on the revs. I have done nearly 3000 ks on it

BUT, if your like me and only drive it to work and back it is all good, but when I take it into town, yes it can be a bitch. I will be looking at another brand after this one is done.

Go back to the factory work and pack some spuds, but then she sang. Good on her, what a voce. sure made me sit back and watch.
