  2. Hi, I bought a second hand t56 and it came with the old clutch Its a VALEO Pressure Plate, exedy clutch disk that's 275mm in diameter and it had a alloy CSC Question Are: To me is that an 11" Clutch so not a factory clutch........Am I Correct? If it is could I get the flywheel machined and get a new clutch disk only? Last but not least..........are the alloy CSC's a re-useable Item because they are not plastic or are they just a more reliable throw away Item? Thanks
  3. Yea I was thinking that as an option aswell. No wreckers in my town. Just lookin at another option
  4. Hey guys. Ive got a hold of a t56 conversion kit to turn my 03 ba 4spd sedan into something a bit more fun to drive. I have got everything except this conversion I got was from a ute. The tailshaft obviously doesnt work but can I swap the front section of the manual ute shaft with rear section of my auto sedan shaft. I see my sedan has the uni joint at the centre bearing and the ute one has a cv. Is it that simple or is it best to source another tailshaft Thanks

  7. I used to have 245/40/18 maxxis MA-Z1 and they where great price & performance, They stopped making them apparently. I just got the new Maxxis MA-Z4s in the same size and for $250 each. They hold up great, only traction loss I get in the dry with them is 1-2 chirp.
  8. Me and a few of my mates used to get around with "Real Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Rice" on our back windows. I used to get a laught at the lights when it offended the ricers, they just took it to heart and act like children. It didn't last long cause it started to looks tacky on an expensive car. It was worth the laughs at the drags though.
  9. Have you had any luck with the roof lining? I'm in the same area and I'm looking for someone to do my roof lining to (Sagging like sh*t stuck on ass hair). Did you find anyone? I was tipped by a mate that there was a bloke in garbut (called paul's apolstry? or something similar) that sis a good job and embroyded ss into his VS SS roof lining when it was done. That was a few years ago though. I'm temped to do it myself but I would rather a profesional job

What is required to run it in my BA. I've looked at the Products on ASL Logistics ASL which one will I need. Will the Xbox one do it? If anyone had done this before I would love to hear from you Cheers

    Tuner In Nq

Hey Mick06 If your still chasing a tuner I would recommend Dave in Mackay. He Tuned my car and I was extremely happy with the results. He is very customer orientated so very good to talk to and he will put you on the right direction. He used to own a 10 sec XR6t with an unopened motor so he has has a fair bit of experience for the XR6T's. His user name on this forum is Blueboost If you want to PM him. As for Tuners In Townsville you can choose between Bob Hawkins and TMS. I haven't heard any results from TMS. Apparently Bob puts pride into his Turbo 6's and 8's to what I have heard. I have a mate who had his XR8 done by bob and got 260rwkw. I'd give Dave in Mackay a bell first he will talk you over prices and power figures. Hope this helps.
  19. Yea, I was quite surprised my self, as was Blueboost when he tuned it. Exhaust has been done. Still all and I MEAN ALL that piping is still there. I don't mind for the time being though because it looks stock as a rock.
  20. My 03 BA XR6T did 297.5rwkw @ 13psi on a 33 degree day here in the North QLD with stock internals and fuel pump, Being it has only just hit 20000kms may have some thing to do with it though.
  21. Thanks for the info so far, they are a black spring with a yellow tag. Id probably take it they are the heavy duty ford springs because it did have the 1600kg tow pack from factory and he had it removed to install this Hayman and Reece tow package that was rated at 2000kg. that's was his reasoning that he sold the car was because ford said his warranty would be void because his boat was more than 1600kgs. Rather good buy on my behalf though.
  22. Gudday everyone, I went and got my car custom tuned by Blueboost a couple of weeks ago, while he was driving around with me in the car logging data he asked me is I had had a suspension upgrade because he said that it felt rather firm. Now in me not knowing jack about suspension and the fact that when I bought my car from the 2nd hand dealer they weren't aware of what was even done to it. I owned the car for a month before someone identified that I had a upgraded intercooler. I had spoken to the original owner and he explained that he bought the XR6T to put his yacht (rather big boat) in the water. He has had an custom made Hayman and Reece tow package on it for that reason. I'm just wondering would he of put stiffer springs in the rear for that reason. I crawled under the car and found a yellow label on the rear springs saying 047-003 AA02. That means................to me. I have parked my car beside my ex's XR6 and it does appear to be 1/4 inch if that lower than hers. So any help muchly appreciated. If anyone want me to get some more details just ask. Thanks
  23. Hey, thanks for the reply guys, I'll make a few more phone calls and get this sorted out ASAP.
  24. Hey people. Ive had my XR6T for about 9 months now (6months with the flash tuner). I love my car and it goes like the clappers and I care for it a lot but after reading a few threads on the Generic Capa tunes I'm getting a little worried on how unhealthy my car could be running. My 03 BA XR6T 4sp has done 18000k's. I have got a Herrod stainless steel twin 2.5" cat back exhaust, Capa larger front mount intercooler, K&N panel filter with SS inductions CAI. When I run the 8psi tune(95octane) I'm running 11-12 psi and when I'm run the 10psi (98octane) I'm getting 13-15psi depending on if it hot or cool. Is this normal for what mods I've got. I haven't had it checked out by a tuner becausw there really isn't anywhere nearby that can help me. Closest place is Townsville QLD but I haven't heard good things so my next options are cairns or Mackay. So I will be traveling to cairns next month to get this sorted and get my valve springs upgraded. I'm just curious am I just paranoid or just lucky, any thoughts appreciated.
