  1. Most of it bolts straight on. Headlight wiring for low beam is different. You will need to do some wiring changes as Mk1 uses a H4 which has a dual element globe with low and high. Mk2 only has single element globe
  2. Happy Birthday boost26!

  3. Happy Birthday boost26!

  4. Happy Birthday boost26!

  5. Mr Sheen works a treat on your tint. Detailing clay and 0000 steel wool makes the outside glass easy to clean
  6. Happy Birthday boost26!

  7. wasnt cheap :( The seat foams and headrests were about $1k and trimming was about the same but worth every cent. Ever since I sat in a GTP at the motor show I knew I had to have these seats.
  8. I believe they are the same as Super Pursuit seats. I used the original G6ET frames so full electric. All I did was remove the original seat foams & headrests and replaced them with the GTP ones. The trimmer also added supports to the original frames to support the bolsters in the foams.
  9. I converted my G6ET seats. Bought some genuine GTP seat foams and had them trimmed in leather to closely match factory rears. One of the best things I have done. Love them
  10. Rim size has nothing to do with it. Its all about the tyre diameter. Unless the diameter is hugely out which would make it unroadworthy they have about a dozen options they can set your speedo to.
  11. I think your dealer is talking crap to you. I went from 245/35/19 to 245/40/19 which is a 5 % change in rolling diameter. Took it in to my dealer and asked them to correct the speedo for larger rolling diameter. They did it no problems and said its good that I got it reflashed to suit larger diameter cause it effects transmission shift points etc.. Checking on GPS it was only 1 km/h out at 100 whereas before it was 2k out. They have various options depending on tyre size, rim size has nothing to do with it. Only problem now is since I had it tuned with Xcal3 its back to original settings so my speedo is out again.
  12. When I did mine I marked it but then actually aligned the cradle holes with the chassis holes which was slightly different. Alignment came up perfect and cant say there is a noticable difference left to right. Will have to measure to see if there is a difference
  13. You need to take it to a Ford dealer to program the cluster to the car. Otherwise, as you have found out, car wont start. Had this done in my G6ET and the old mans G6ET. Had mine done pre-delivery and dads cost him $80.
  14. From what Ive read the DRL ones need wiring mods too as they also run a single element low beam globe. If this is the case the low beams would switch off when on high beam too. I dont think the wiring mods would be too hard, just a matter of finding the trigger wires from the headlight switch and wiring in some diodes so you can bridge the 2 together.
  15. The FG2 must run different wiring from the headlight switch. FG1 uses a H4 globe for the inners which is a twin element globe so when you switch to high beam the inner light switches to the 2nd (high beam) element and cuts power to the low beam element. I checked this today off the headlight plug. FG2 uses just a single element H7 globe for the inner (halogen or HID wont matter) so if its powered from the FG1 low beam circuit it will cut out when changed to high beam. So need to figure out a way of getting the power to the low beam when on high beam if that makes any sense. Will speak to the elec techs at work. Anyone got a headlight wiring diagram for FG or FG2?
