  1. Yeah defintely! although I am sure there will be a thermal impact due to the colour!
  2. not wrong mate, I thought the silhouette of the trees would be more pronounced, and not having shot here before I wasn't sure how the rotation would go. I do like this one from earlier in the year better, but will need to go looking for better points of interest over summer!
  3. thanks mate, this specific look was the inspiration (I know it is not a coupe, or a Mercedes!), just need to finish the front! Oh, and apologies for the car being so dirty, with painting bits and pieces it hasn't been viable to wash it!
  4. hey guys, here is my latest startrails pic, 238 30 second exposures overlaid. it isn't that great except for the ufo at the top/middle! let me know what you think. This has been shrunk a bit too, full size photo is ~167mb!
  5. Some better pics of the diffuser, the silver stuff showing below it has been painted, as has the exhaust tips and muffler.
  6. Yeah it was just the fact that it was freshly done and wasn't given a chance to settle before getting dumped with rain, and also that we need better adhesive due to the tight curves and corners of the spoiler.
  7. nah, henz and scar are really good. it was the weather, straight after wrapping it sat in the rain for three days and then in the sun, and it peeled/shrunk.
  8. Few additions happening at the moment boys and girls. Stuck my RS Rear diffuser on this morning, although no good pics yet as the sikaflex is still curing: and also starting painting my grills black, but the rain started before I got to start the second, and I couldn't be bothered anymore, so I will have a crack at that on the weekend. Got a few more things to wrap (spoiler, mirrors, foglight surrounds) once the ledlin boys have the gear and some free time. I Also have staino's airbox and a PW stepped cooler sitting here, waiting for Mick and Bel to get back from holidays to plan the rest of the next stage, which I hope will happen before xmas but who knows.
  9. Not a fan of stripes in general but I do like the roof!
  10. I would just like to see how they fair once the weather actually gets warmer. They are not proven, as some of the coolers at the $1000 mark are. I know from running the power I do with the stock cooler that as soon as the weather heats up (the last few days in Melbourne) or you spend a bit of time in traffic (everyday) the intake temps skyrocket. I have seen anywhere from 50-60 degrees in these situations and and there is a significant, noticeable power loss. Generally a cheap, high performance or high quality product is too good to be true. I would like to see this one proven to be, but I have a feeling that when it gets to cruising around in summer you would ditch this for one of the more commonly used coolers.
  11. Value for money is buying something once and not having to replace it right?
  12. g6e front on an xr8 I reckon, looks cool because it is not a standard g6e colour! I think xyz has them on his white f6, it is further back in the thread, and in the 600+ club edit: link, towards the bottom of the page http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/72992-fg-f6-610-rwkw/page__st__80
  13. bellato he has a gs now, it is in his signature.
  14. it could be +45 with spacers, maybe contact tech 9 and ask about that car?
  15. Haha, I want to keep some chrome, no point having a luxury model and turning it completely into an xt!
  16. G6e already has chrome around the the grill, and I am planning on spraying the 'mesh' part of the grill black. I have seen the chrome door handle covers in person and to me they seem too bulky.
  17. Mirrors and fog light surrounds are on the list mate! Along with a few other things I want to try before showing the masses.
  18. Definitely. That would be the best way to make your car look better! I actually like it just blue and white, but it does need something else. White roof? Blue hard lid? Not really sure, but something.
  19. Yes mate, +32's, rubbed on the inner guard at the front, on full lock and when I hit big bumps. With the 30's I have not had either, and they are a +25.
  20. At my ride height a 245/35 rubs in the front where as a 245/30 does not. Something else to think about. And I think the ride is better with my current wheels and 30's all round as apposed to the previous 35 up front and 30 rear. although that could be a combination of tyre type & wheel quality also.
  21. You can chuck mine on when I come back to the workshop if you want?
  22. Hey mate, thanks! haven't done anything to it since, just waiting for some things to come in the mail to go the next stage. I am not 100% on the bit above the grill but since it is vinyl I will get it wrapped and if I don't like it just rip it off! Will have some more updates soon!
