  1. looking good as always WA! Mine sits at about 340-345 at the front and around 320-325 at the rear, some days I look at the back and think it is too low, but I like the nice levelled side skirt look. Obivously not on springs though so sorry to take it off topic!
  2. couple more links if you haven't found them: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/73226-fg-f6-with-lpi-lpg-by-pitlane-frankston/ http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/68370-lpg-280rwkw-11psi-mick-is-the-man/
  3. Hey mate, not exactly sure what I am doing yet, hopefully go tune and cat and maybe get 280? Not really sure. Getting it done at Pitlane Performance in Frankston. The coilovers are great, I did a bit of a review in a coilovers thread in the suspension section Edit: here it is http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/77761-review-on-coilovers/

    Next Vic Cruise

Hey gaz, alpine cruise sounds good, near where I grew up so always fun to head back! I am still keen for the archeron way cruise too!
  5. I think it was Zoom magazine maybe? If you are looking for other lpg turbo conversions have a look in the pitlane performance section. I am booked in in a couple of weeks to convert my G6ET!
  6. I meant other people overtaking at 98... I personally have extensive experience with your method Dillz!
  7. agreed. overtaking at 98 gives me the sh*ts!
  8. I do like the hardrock but I think the Scott has a better spread of components, 100mm forks with lockout will be more versatile, and a full shimano drivetrain is an advantage. The 80mm forks on the hardrock probably don't have enough travel for your size offroad.
  9. still haven't decided mate? headed out to any shops for a look yet?
  10. you might have to reduce the size of it fly
  11. they are good mate, would get frustrating if every job was like that, need a heap of 20 square boxes in between to keep the boys going!
  12. nah mate, mine came with one, there are a few options. You can go an xr6t diff, or upgrade to an aftermarket, I don't think you will get either done for less than $1500 installed, and the aftermarket could be a fair bit more expensive.
  13. very nice, white is the new black! what king springs you running? looks very low...
  14. looking good jd, good old curved walls, pain in the ass! Here is a few pics of a job we did recently, prefab trusses and frames: It can be done with enough patience and expertise!
  15. nice car mate! and welcome to the forum! What mods have you done? What is your suspension setup? Where about are you situated? ohh...and more pics!
  16. henry I thought that was between you and me...and ben...
  17. how do you know whether salami is absorbent or not tony? :o
  18. haha, after I posted it I was like 'sh*t, I hope he doesn't take it the wrong way!'
  19. apparently if you do it too much it makes you bloat and throw up blood....pazzo?
  20. yeah they are the sort of houses where it takes more time to get prefabs right than it does to finish the job! I have done a heap of raking wall split level jobs, they are great fun...if you have the time to get it right! Just finished one in Kilcunda and the guy has put most of it up, he is very impressed that it was right, those jobs make it worth it!
  21. yeah it can be piss easy in some spots in the shed, although they don't get paid too well for it. That spot in the frame jig with the two guns is important because it is that guy that pushes the guys on the finishing table who put the lintels in, stud ties on, bracing on, etc. if he is good he will have a heap lined up in front of them and keep the pressure on, if he isn't the guys on the finishing table sit down, tap their watches, and laugh at him!
  22. From where you have been working jd you must have been working on some pretty hectic houses! Stick framing always gives you the luxury to modify things as you go, I know if I was on the tools I would probably prefer to stick, but if you can get prefab right you can save a bit of time. I don't care either way, if the chippy wants to stick so be it, none of them want to pitch whole roofs though, so I will always have something to do!
  23. 160km's a day mate! it can be a hectic industry, one phone call while you are working on a job and it can cause you to f*ck the whole thing up! That's the one in breakwater yeah? its a trade yard isn't it? It can be a great job, but inevitably you will make mistakes, we are always under pressure to get stuff done in a hurry and there are always too many distractions, sometimes it gets to the stage where you cringe every time the phone rings, but overall I enjoy it. That looks awesome fordfreak, very euro sports coupe, don't like the wing though
  24. concrete won't be better with metricon, its all about price now mate. The prefabs you get in the city will generally be lower quality as it is highly price focused. If you get your system going you can make good money working for Metricon but a lot of guys struggle and that's why they end up with average chippy's. I work for Dahlsens Building Centres, have worked around the state with them but in Wonthaggi now.
