you could be onto something, as I was thinking the track was measured from outside of wheel to outside of wheel. but it still remains that you cannot increase rim width by more than 25mm, and unless you own a gt r spec 9 inch wheels were not specified for your model or series (I'm sure you could argue that but we all know what toggies are like with the law in their hands)

but you will not fit 10's on the rear without increasing your rear track by more than 25mm. that will tell you the limitations.

the info in the fg offsets thread has nothing to do with legalities mate. unfortunately what will fit (and look good!) and what will fit legally are two different things!

I know mate, but if you read further in the link Adam posted, the maximum rear track will come into play also, which is 25mm more than standard.

thinking about it more, it would be impossible to get 10's in an offset that only increases the rear track by 25mm or less, as they would not fit due to hitting on the inside, so this would render any other argument void, and make them illegal for all fg's. you may be able to go 9.5, but then only in the correct offset, and on a gt.

so then are fpv and ford considered the same manufacturer? and then would gt's and g6et's be considered the same series? because the 'g series' never came with that option.

yes mate, and yes I took the bar off, it is the easiest way. I took the foggies off of the bar to spray, and just masked around the grill with it still in the bar, but off of the car.

I would say no, as the gt wheels are not an option for your specific vehicle then the maximum would still be 9's. this is just my opinion though.

How did you organise that Matt? Did you approach them or did they approach you?

you take a heap of exposures one after the other using a remote, and then use a program to overlay the images (startrails.exe) and it creates the star trail effect from the images. it usually has to do a bit of blending due to the small gap between the shutter closing and opening again.
