  1. Saw your car again in beacie yesterday stiflr, I followed pandas eBay link earlier in this thread, got 4x25mm.
  2. I'm waiting for a set of spacers from the states, should push my stockies out to the equivalent of 9 in +11.
  3. Mine has done 180000km. The leather is worn but as far as the bolster of the seats go I think it is still in great shape. You won't get the wrap around support you get in the SS though, and the seats can be quite slippery and squeaky after a few km's.
  4. looks the same. they posted your numberplate on facebook too chris, so if that is an issue for you I would contact them.
  5. just to clarify...I drove from lakes entrance, to eastern beach at lakes entrance, not from pakenham to anywhere, as I am away.
  6. mine still managed to get slippery on my drive down to the beach, not too sluggish, only saw intake temps of about 45 coz no traffic.
  7. Dunno yet, I'm thinking fat 19's with aggressive offsets.
  8. And panda, nothing lasts forever!
  9. they were for sale for about 5 mins, and vic only, I wasn't going to post them. sorry mate.
  10. Sold the vertini's today. Dunno why, just had enough of them. So back to the stockies for now, nice to have the invo's back! And now looking at some jap wheels in 19's with some nice offsets.
  11. what did you have to modify to get the tub on?
  12. Have a look through the sponsors section to see what is on offer. I use Pitlane with great results, a lot of people use Nizpro with great results also. I would be looking at those before HPF.
  13. Here is Danny's engine bay from C4C this year.
  14. If you mean it has a little cap on it, this is a cover over the hex/Phillips head, once you remove it with pliers it is full steam ahead.
  15. I have done over 250000kms in three different xr6 turbos with blocked bovs and never had a turbo problem.
  16. Hey mate, I had my G6E Turbo converted by Pitlane Performance (one of our site sponsors) in Frankston. If you are looking for a standard conversion on standard power then it is a fairly straight forward operation. If you a looking to mod the car then this needs to be taken into consideration before the conversion because it will effect what needs to be done to the gas system. Your best bet is to get in contact with Mick and Belinda at Pitlane in the new year, as they have a wealth of experience with converting our vehicles to LPG, and seeing as you are in Gippsland would be quite accessible to you.
  17. This is how it looks right now, we are just waiting on some new wrap to redo the spoiler which we can't get until the new year. Bootlid has been taped up where I went back to bare metal getting the spoiler off, damn sikaflex! (Couple of quick photos outside my house playing with a new light source, please excuse the quality!)
  18. Sounds interesting. I though about putting my g6e 19's on the rear if your ute to see how the invo's handled the power, but just did burnouts with your $1400 each tyres instead.
  19. Get them powder coated white instead! White is the perfect colour for your ute.
  20. I just pulled until it came out, although my bar has been in and off around 10 times now so it is quite quick and easy, especially when you tuck the stone tray up over the lower edge!
  21. Sounds good, keen to see it with the xr8 bonnet, it's the last visual mod I want to do to mine.
  22. Haha Henz, my Missus wouldn't get in the car yesterday until I took it off! Nah keeping the chrome dags, matches the grill surrounds and the boot garnish.
