  1. Well its in and working! I used the orignial orange backlit fasica with the 6 stacker from the blue backlit icc. Ford programmed it for me, they at first didnt know what I was talking about until I insisted that it was possible so they went and checked with the head mechanic. cost $55 and took 1/2 hr :(
  2. Does anyone know if its possible to swap the guts of the systems so I can retain the orange colour scheme, dads not sure if the blue suits everything else
  3. Is it still in there? want me to send it your way?
  4. Well its in, and say COdE - I presume I need to take it to service centre? Also I left a cd in the old unit, any easy way of getting it out eg manual eject or something?
  5. Well I have the replacement ICC will attempt to install on the weekend Is it best to disconnect the battery like like it is for most things? How do you get those 4 dang connectors out the first one wont budge!!
  6. If there is a problem I presume it would be drivable to a ford dealer?
  7. Just to confirm, this wont need any re-coding etc?
  8. My dads has the basic stereo so no sub even - well it can hardly be called a sub Hopefully I can fit a set of 6 or 6.5" drivers in the doors My 89 rolla is a ton easier to work on
  9. I presume the bem goes in the empty spot on the bottom of this unit: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...st&id=29350
  10. Got any pics or links about doing it yourself?
  11. So the bem and remote receiver is easy to identify?
  12. Hey Im looking at replacing the single cd icc in my dads territory with a 6 stack icc from these forums Im just not 100% on what is involved Any one got a tutorial or can explain thank!!
