  5. Yep, V8 Supercar series is becoming more irrelevant every year. Other than the body panels, there is very little under the skin which can be called Falcon or Holden. Bring back the road cars.
  6. Have a look at WASXAMAN's photos of low and high beam in the thread below. http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.ph...5573&page=1 It is a very good result.
  7. Very hard to say. It will depend on the type of pads you have and how you drive. I have only just installed RDAs so I can't tell you from experience. However, a lot of people say the RDAs are as good as the DBA for everyday driving, particularly the slotted rotors. They will do me. I can't justify the additional cost of 4000/5000 series DBA rotors.
  8. Save some money, go RDA rotor....... Bendix pads tend to be very dusty.
  9. Try this link for some info: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...ic=38531&hl=
  10. DBA - Overpriced, some say too hard and tend to crack particularly the drilled type. RDA - Reasonably priced, far better than stock particularly the slotted type. Overall better bang for your buck.
  11. The biggest problem with the standars BA front brake rotors is that they are only 28mm thick. The 32mm rotors are far more warp resistant. Unfortunately, you need different calipers....... Get yourself some BA premium callipers and rotors for the front. You can't go wrong.
  12. Yes, Yes, at last someone has verified what I have been saying in a number of threads for a long time. The GEXenon's 6000K HID are great in a BA XR. I have H4 Hi/ Lo and H7s for the high beam. Aligned the headlights according to the workshop manual, no flashing from oncoming cars, country driving is magic with all four HIDs booming out the light. You can throw all the halogen globes, Philips Crystal white globes and all in the bin. I rest my case......

Try these guys. I am sure I have seen them in their workshop. They also have cheap ADR compliant braided hoses. I think the guys name is Tony. Ultra Performance Components in Croydon 3136, Melbourne, Victoria. Ph. 03 9723 9924

Ford Premiums C6 callipers and Terriotory callipers and rotors in the rear on a BA are magic. Rears bolt staight on after enlarging the calliper opening approximately 20mm either side to cater for the larger calliper (used a hacsaw and file). You need BF/Territory brake hoses. Pedal height no change - pot size is the same on the old and new callipers.
  15. If you could adapt a Mopar (Chysler) 727 auto, it is the best. These are also indestructible and used by many dragsters over the years.
