OK Ive got the dash apart thanks to saleen1, now I just need to get the connector. Im thinking it is the one sitting to the left of centre and its only just above the dash trim? It is white and it sits open end facing to the front of the car? I cant seem to get the connector loose? Any Help? Mitch

YAY, I discovered the tutorial on fordmods and will be starting it 2moro, I hope. Is there anybody who can help me with the procedure to acces the video connector? (like which screws to undo on the dash) I dont really wanna undo any old screw Aaron, is the reason why you reccomended SCART because it keeps red signal, blue signal.... etc separate so it is easily plugged into the ICC, unlike a single RCA plug? I saw an ICC in action with dvd and sat nav, OH MY GOD, im dying, I check this page like every couple of hours in hope. Aaron what type of technology do we need for IR controls? can the IR port near the ICC be used to control several devices? Like switching inputs and controlling DVD player?

Oh yeah, I thought I would have needed a inverter to run an Xbox or the like?

Yes Aaron I have been researching Xbox's for a while now, its quite hard to know what to do when I dont even have one, but there is plenty of stuff to read up on. Ill get the system first and play around. Are standard Xbox able to convert between Pal and NTSC by themselves, I was looking up those external converters and they are CRAZY prices. How much does SCART cables go for?I dont know too much about SCART but it sounds like the way to go. Cant wait for the cable! Thanks Aaron

Here is the plan, - Voltage converter - Video converter - XBOX- modchipped, with 40gb hard drive and maybe a more shock resistant DVD drive (smothered with 20gb of MP3 and music videos). With network capabilities for updating in the garage. - Tv tuner, hopefully not too expensive - There was even talk of a simple GPS system feeding live co-ords to a laptop which would plot onto a mapping system. CHEAP NAV (I hope) Maybe I am even more crazy Anything else we need?

hmm, yeah there are a lot of losers on the game, I think its still a bit buggy. Have you tried changing the graphics settings? That might speed it up.

8.7 without NOS, I havent seriously tried with nos but I imagine I would be able to get 7.5 - 7.3 with NOS, depending on my ratios Whoa I just checked the fastest skyline on Nitto does 5.9!!

XRSICKT, I will surf around for some good gear ratios for your civic. They help alot! I got my skyline from 9 sec to 8.7(without nos) by fiddling with the ratios. The ones I give you will need to be tweaked and your drving style changed. just keep the car on boost and hit redline at the finish line. Make sure you have every mod you can get, and make sure you lower your beast AS LOW AS IT WILL GO, mate my shick shhkyline wont even get over a garden hose mate. Now we just need da neons and some subs. Now for some ratios!

We changed the oil on the weekend so I had a peek at the intercooler. It seems that it is probably 1/5th covered by that black plastic bar running behind the number plate. I was thinkin that lowering it would increase cooling but not reduce psi. Or remove the black plastic bar to expose more of it. :idea: Maybe this could be a simple mod for someone to try.

WE HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED, by another team!! I wont accept because my computer is dead and I have to sit on this slow beast for a while. AND its a head 2 head race, and turbo civic's have no chance against integras.
