I went for my driving test on Friday and passed. I was pretty happy with myself not having to pay anymore money to go for the drving test (I failed once). TODAY My friend and I decide to go shopping for an upcoming birthday party. Its kinda a weird feeling not having mum and dad breathing down your throat for the first time. On the way into the shopping centre carpark the radio starts messing around, I turned it off thinking that is just another problem apart from lack of power in a 4cyl camry. After shopping I turn the key again to head home....my heart just sank. :( The car wouldnt crank. So I ring dad who come over and jumps starts it with the T. The car barely starts but I manage to chug away. Then the worst enemy appears ahead.....a long steep hill....foot buried the revs drop by the thousand every second....back to first, 5 thousand all the way up the hill, dad had to stop for a roundabout and the camry just died when it stopped nearly on the steepest part of the hill. Absolutley crapping myself...what do I do...ARGH Damn alternator problem lucky its not my car for a beginner driver I have also had a prang where some old guy ran up my backside. Where have you guys broken down? Im sure some of you have been in worse sitatuions

Stunner, Im running on just pure research, no testing. The SCART cable im not 100% on, because im not sure how it pugs into the xbox. I would think getting a scart extension cable and lopping and end off would do the trick, as it would be able to fit the plug needed for the ICC and carry the sound signals up to the stereo aswell. But as with my plans at the moment im not 100 percent. ill keep you posted! Mitch

Stunner, Ive done a fairbit of research on xbox. Not having the system myself makes it quite hard to make plans on what the next step will be. The xbox will need to be NTSC (60hz refresh), I think a mod chip can give you the options of switching between the two (PAL and NTSC). A SCART cable used with the xbox will keep each of the specified signals separated (e.g. red, blue, green, h sync, etc) instead of combining them into 3 RCA plugs, which wont work. But I cant say much more, I need the system. I also have conflicting information and I need the system to set things straight. If I get it going ill put on a HOW TO. Mitch

Well it all started boxing day 3:00am :banghead: , got draged out of bed, and into the car. Started on the freeway for the long haul down to Sydney and onto that very ineresting road called the Hume Highway. 3:30am spot a highway patrol car!! Early hours dont deter the radar operators The Hume Highway is quite ineresting, with its scenic tumble weeds and various fences. 12 hours later The great ocean road is a very nice road, its seems victoria can build roads properly, every corner has nice camber and the limit does not seem ludicris (except in the city) I would recommend two days to drive it properly, one day for stopping and looking at all of the towns and tourist attractions (photos below), and one day for driving it properly, make sure you plan a quiet day when the campervans and camry altise drivers arent let loose. I was away over the new year which is my birthday, it wasnt the best new year going to bed at 10:30. BUT I know the good hearted people could celabrate a little later than the 1st, so how about it (check the pics)
