I need to get this section replaced and was wondering how "hi flow" I can go without running lean or overboosting. cheers

is it hydraulic clutch? check the level maybe bleed it.

I forgot to mention to those who do not know my car is stock and will be until well into next year. is it because of the high flow cat that they overboost? is there any other aftermarket way around it?

Just wondering if I could get some clarification on getting an aftermarket system. Does getting a 3.5" dump and high flow cat cause a "limp home" mode or overboost? I need to seriously start thinking about what system to get.

Well guys got the quote in... Tranny Ass.-$5976 Slave Cyl.-$522 Clutch PP-$635 Clutch Discs-$434 Flywheel-$980 That's just the start, there's another $1500 odd including $935 for cat ass. plus over $1000 for labour. Hello Mal Wood and xforce me thinks... ...a very expensive lesson!

I forgot to mention I want sumn loud too. thoughts are dump and high flo cat and centre removal. I did ask somewhere if there was any diff. in twin or single? (What's The Best System?)

I've been reading thru the threads and I know the stock system is good for more than standard kw but...I have crushed my dump pipe (PP took it out...read Clutch Problems) and ford have quoted over $1000, and I'm thinking I could get a nice new shiny complete system for near the same. Any opinions???

3rd gear sideways possibly quite close to limiter. chasing Mal up for option 3 and a garage other than ford. but living in esperance it's hard because there's not alot of cars modified in town, always done elsewhere. wish I had a hoist

I might hijack this thread and note that after my episode (RE-Clutch Problems) and are now in the market for a dump pipe as my PP destroyed mine. Prolly go XForce 3.5" dump to same size cat. questions are: Is there a diff in 3.5" single or twin 2.5" full systems Has anyone got sound files or experience on their quiet and loud systems car will not be modified a whole lot not for some time, my main concern is to get the car back on the road cheers

Well cost is round $11k so I'll be on the look out for some second hand gear, flywheel to gearbox including sump. been told gearbox could need replacing as input shaft took a hit bad. 2 huge holes in chassis from flying debris bout the size of 50cent pieces. exhaust took a hit just before cat (quote was nearly a grand) said I'll chase up my own parts thank you

Well typical Ford not coming to the party. cracked sump, new bellhousing, clutch, exhaust and reco gearbox $11k. They will replace stuffed diff bush and leaks though. thanks for nothin, I brought the damn thing because it could overtake 40m road trains quickly and obvoiusly it can't handle it. fatigue the hell out of it

got it towed, I think there's a small amount left on top I picked up a solid cast ring that was in 4 pieces, made a decent dent in the road

Blew sumn up the other day, Ford got it on the hoist and the bellhousing is non-existent and clutch all warped. will try to post some pix. I hope to god it's all under warranty or I'm gonna have to get some mal wood goodies anyone else had problems like this

why the hell would you need the second panel filter. uni's are sweet by emselves, if youse are worried about sh*t gettin in just get an outerwears sock for it
