  1. if I'm thinkin of the same car (maybe not) there was no need for a intercooler because of the length of induction tubing
  2. DAMN! I work for RAC WA and I don't reckon our truck batteries are that much
  3. I'm hoping our cars can't be hotwired at all cause it's probably one of the easiest cars to get into
  4. new tyres? stickers might make it look faster
  5. I'll just add I was looking for the Turbo rumble which I don't think it achieved (now that I'm sober)
  6. see...xforce or similar. 4" dump to cat to twin 2 1/2" system. theres too much argument with a single 3 1/2 or twin 2 1/2
  7. where are you at? I'm sure there are members here that can recommend a shop worth seeing
  8. is there anybody from the great southern on here eg. Esperance or ppl traveling through? seen some sweet rides in town. ??? even had a 60's mach 1 in the workshop today almost messed my pants
  9. it's all lies, there's no drone, only at idle speeds 0-50 (if you put straight pipes like I did)driving like a granny, I can put some noise clips up if you like but you tube will have plenty. the only problem I found is on a standard tune it just sounds like a straight thru on a stock 6 until you give it WOT with a big psssshhhhhh. I like the burble it gives though I guess I'm just used to it already after a week might have to get rid of the other muffler. I did it myself ($50/metre) but it's the lowest part of my car now so it scrapes all the time.
  10. I dont know if you guys remember but... CAPA did some testing with the w2a cooler in the early days of the T from thier supercharger applicatins I think. went in place of the battery or sumn. looked the goods and cooled temps to near on ambient I think. prolly talkin outta my ass though will have another read tomorrow at work. it's similar BFHOON in shape but not location
  11. you can get these anywhere from 4x4 shops to repco (they were on special recently)
  12. .5 seems normal but I don't have a meter at home. I would have thought .8 would be high but acceptable aswell. I'm putting my pennies away for a CTEK 12v Battery charger, Ferrari supply them as standard there mint.
  13. what gear were you in? I was hittin third when mine went
  14. na idle, I'm guessin either the clutch or gearbox. I did put some wurth manual g/box additive in to get the transmax to coat the syncros an gears better.
  15. yes ppl it's all goin good, hooks up well but I've babied it since the incident mind you. just a few strange noises I need to address and it'll be all good. there's an exhaust leak somewhere and a very high pitch squeal and rattle. :banghead: I'm on my last tether with this bloody thing, did a full service the other day and the friggin oil cap thread split in half :censored: :censored:
  16. is anything happening this weekend? I'll be in bunbury for most of it but if there's gonna be a get together I might be convince the handbrake to drive into the city. it'd be good to meet some of the ppl on the forum
  17. hello fellow WA'ians

  21. tonne stands on each corner should be enough but I've go 2T ones just to be safe. as for the front I think I lifted it from the crossmember because I crushed the chassis last time. I just use the 4 post now days
  22. Didn't smell a thing until I got out and started picking up the pieces mal, is it worth gettin the sump fixed or replaced
  23. PP took it all out, I think mal said sumn like clutch slipping and heating up then POP! was givin it a bootfull on a wet road
  24. awesome I'm gettin jittery juat thinkin about gettin the T back on the road, prolly go for a drive until I run out of juice as soon as I do
