Yeah I can't wait to be able to safely boot it without the torque restrictions and not have to worry about the gearbox suffering. It never ends lol

I'm just saving the coin for the rebuild, so rather than getting the ZF tune and running into the future problems I'm just going to put up with the 'Farts' for now and get it beefed up.

Its about 250$. 800$ was the price it cost me 5 years ago so thumbs to simon for not inflating the price over the years

Car Spluttering At High Rpm Through Gear Changes

Cheers guys just read about the zf 'fart' due to the torque reduction tags. Guess I'll get in touch with Rob on monday and see what we can do about removing them..(will rebuild it next year anyways if it makes it that far aha) -
Hey guys I got my car back yesterday afternoon to my delight and went on a car cruise last night. Whenever I went to manual shift and gave it stick it would go amazing to 5k rpm then I'd switch to the next gear and get this weird spluttering noise from the exhaust and a little surge feeling I think. Only last a second or 2. Any ideas? Possibly sh*t 98? (Shell v power as per my fuel card) it was tuned on that so im not sure. Car is 400rwkw and has the plazmaman surge/044 setup

And there we were at the Scarborough meet, me you and mark talking about his flex plate going and then yours went.. sucks to hear mate that's terrible luck. When mine went it was the most terrible noise at idle but driving around it would disappear. Is it driveable? Or you not going to bother trying (probably a smarter option aha)

Great cruise, had to leave after Scarborough though as I left the missus home unwell and promised her 10ish at the latest aha Steve I don't get how you're able to smash those spaghetti ramps so damm fast, I had a full car on 4xlows and I couldn't keep up lol -
