Maybe he wants the looks without the go, good on him and responsible if his only a P plater why invest 60k in the real thing when he can learn to drive properly and build on his experience with something 1/3 of the cost.In a couple years when he has built up his skill he can buy the real thing. You might be a good/sensible driver but just think there are alot of people who have written off their xr6t`s, So treat them with respect ESPECIALLY if your a p plater not to mention legally you shouldn`t be driving one. In W.A I can legally drive it mate , but yeah I know what you mean with the first small paragraph, if I wasnt so obsesed with having a turbo id just get an xt and put a typhoon/gt body kit on it

thanks guy's, I was only planning to get the exhuast becuase I want my T to sound a little bit tougher, I think I'll get the injectors and cooler done first. I'll just head to Simon's And get him to do the whole lot for me when he does my tune

I'm gonna totally change the topic now, sorry guys! I'm looking at getting a nice new exhuast system for my bf xr6t, ive been looking around locally (by that I mean rockingham) and ive been quoted 800$ to get a dual 2.5 inch manta system installed on my car. is that a good price? I'm not really sure on good prices etc,what do you guys reccomend I put into my car for roughly the same price? I dont mind travelling around the perth region of it means getting a really good exhuast system Also what kinda system is reccomended? Becuase after I get the exhuast im getting a custom tune done. It gives him a false sence of having something he doesnt, although he will get goes from gts's and get his ass kicked.. probably why they think they stand a chance now I'm an 18 y/o P plater with a real xr6 turbo, NO I DIDNT PUT TURBO BADGES ON MY CAR LOL, I happily lift up my bonnet Its the looks people give you when you're driving it. "WOW A P PLATER WITH A F6 TYPHOON" IMO it doesnt look too bad, it looks like he works hard for his money and his parents probably said no to getting a 60+ grand loan for something that looks the same as the car he has now

Well tonight my mate got his court summons (the detectives personally delivered it to him) anyway I went over to read it and the bullsh*t they have put down.. makes me really angry/worried.. for instance they have put down they we were doing way over 70 before we hit the lights (I had cruise control on and I was doing 70) and after we did the whole race to the single zone it says we turned right (we turned left) and punched it again, and we both didnt.. I admit the fast acceleration off the lights was wrong and COULD have been dangerous, but when we hit the single I was a good 10 metres infront. So I'm gonna loose my lisence over possibilites that it might have been dangerous? I havent got my summons yet, but now im really worried, my mate is going to be trailed as a child and im gonna be as an adult, I had passengers to.. The D's said to my mate that the LEAST that's gonna happen is that we are going to loose our lisence for 3 months, wtf is the worst??? im not gonna go to jail am I??? Anyway the summons said that the court hearing is may 16th so I can freely drive untill then.. OFFTOPIC.. Any chance the W.A cruise boys can make a cruise before that date?

Well last night the detectives that cuaght us gave my mate a ring telling him that becuase hes under the age of 18 they are going to have to ring and tell him mum the next day about him having to go to court.. my mate also asked him what our MINIMIUM sentence is going to be and he said Loss of Lisence (wtf?) I dont know anymore but its starting to sound suss.. all we did was accelerate fast for about 20-30metres just to the end of the traffic lights becuase it goes to 1 lane and the D's have booked it as wreckless driving.. Another one of my mates was cuaght drifting around a round about in peak hour and all he had to do was do a 4 hour driving course.. Guess my clean record means nothing.., well if I loose my lisence I cant go to work and I'll loose my car, happy days.. all I can do is hope

lights were on, no sirens got pulled over, I got nothing from them at all except for the cops card, he told me if I dont get the summoning papers in 2 weeks to phone him.. Yeah my plates... I was only gonna be on them for another 2 months

All they said to me was that ive been cuaght under the hoon law (pretty sure my speed meant nothing) but I was doing like 90ish in a 70 zone becuase we only dragged for about 40 metres but it was enough for them to chase us and pull us over. They were detectives also (must have been a quiet night) asked me the normal questions like why did you do it,do you know the person you did it against etc.. im just sitting here (got like no sleep..) waiting for something to happen in 2 weeks when I get my summoning.. to the bloke who said they dont send 1, I hope you're right mate.. I dunno what my parents are gonna do once they find out

Yeah.. Tonight me and my mate thought it would be 'fun' to see who could hit the single lane zone from the lights first.. little did we know there was an undercover cop lurking in the background just waiting for us to do so. We went, I won of course (my mate has en EF gli..lol) and next thing I know I got a Expensive Daewoo Late model camira next to me telling me to pull over, I pretty much shat myself as this is the first time anything like this has happened to me.. They got all my details, and my mates and were discussing weather on not to impound our cars on the spot or take us to court in a couple of weeks, in the end they said they would post us summonings to court.. This is my first ever offence and my record is clean (no speeding fines etc) what can I expect to get from the courts if I pleed guilty? my mate on the other hand has had 3 speeding fines, what can he expect.. Thanks guys.. (im still a little shaken, pretty much learnt my leason never to speed again )

He's been in the work force for nearly 2 years and saved quiet a bit of money, of course though the parents helped a bit, but like I said to him its not bad for a first bloody car! (my first was an EL falcon, thought that was the best ever) Dad drives an vz SV6 (its his company car though haha) and my mum drives a hyundai getz, I do beleive my gf is quiet 'hot' haha, nah shes gorgeous, she loves coming on cruises!, shes been in karratha for the last couple of weeks becuase of her parents and their family vacation, she gets back on friday, cant wait..
