I'm sure someone on these forums would sell you an XR6 Turbo exhuast system as they are dual 2 1/4 inch standard from the cat back, then buy some pace maker extractors, total you'd save would be about 800$

Agreed, it's stupid.. you learn in a little 4 cylinder bubble car and for some reason if you pass the test in this little half a car peice of crap you are just able to drive any car you want, I did my test in my EL xr6 becuase I wanted to be cool Driving training courses should become mandatory, when I bought my new car I got a free day course from ford.

600$, so its a total cost of 1100$, which in my eyes is well worth it rather then loosing my license (and my job) he got the 6 months loss, goes to show what a good lawyer and a clean record can get you

Well I went to court today.. my lawyer managed to get the charged downgraded, so it was only a dangerous driving charge. the Judge was a nice guy and took everything to account like my clean record and my job etc. I've been hit with a 500$ fine, NO LOSS OF LICENSE. A big thanks to all the guys on here telling me to get a lawyer and get details for everything I can, it has worked out for the absoloute best. And to everyone who likes to have a bit of fun on the roads, remember theres a time and place for everything. if you're gonna do it, the middle of knowhere is a good place to start

ive spoken to my lawyer we read the summons together, and the cops guessed I was doing between 90 and 100 becuase they didnt get a speed reading the judge just makes the assumption that I was driving at 90 therefor its 5 k's under being reckless so my lawyer and I have decided to go for a dangerous driving charge, which is just a fine possibly heavy with a chance of losing my lisence rather then reckless where its definent I do. what makes me luagh is the broad line of wreckless driving, I mean ive been charged with reckless for what ive done which is minor, yet someone street racing down the freeway at more then double the posted speed (which could be up to 200) will only get charged with the same thing and loose their lisence for the same time Gotta love it

seen a metalic grey xr6 turbo with the plates "BA XR6T" at the intersection of south street and banister road this morning, just coming home from work

I would rather get a hefty fine as long as it means I keep my lisence.., no lisence = no job.. no job = losing my car for good The driver of the other car got 6 months and 200$ fine.. no lawyer and previous speeding offences.

Well, tommorow is the big day.. I go to court to find out what my punishment is a month after doing the deed. All I can say is if you're gonna do something on the road make sure its on one of those good'ol "private roads" lol I'm not sure how I'm going to do, ive got a clean record if that helps, the summons has no proof of what I was doing just the detectives words of 'apeared' and 'we estimate', I also got myself a lawyer and information concering my work hours,job etc etc, becuase you see if they take my lisence away ive got no way of getting to work at 3:30am in the morning.. Anyways whatever the outcome, I've learnt my lesson not to be a spur of the moment dickhead

my dash says 15.4 on average.. I only drive it hard though. 6 speed auto , on the freeway it keeps steady at about 7.8-8.2

well that's odd, hope you can get it sorted mate. I put a 10psi tune into my car for the first time, 10mins later after giving it some I blew the intake off and lost boost and everything lol (was the intake going to the IC) shes ok now though
