Conrod number 5. Dunno what the hell happened to the car since I've last been with it. but it DIDNT sound healthy at all, sounded like I had done the cams and the noise was coming from the bottom end. Getting towed to Simon's place to get fixed on monday. I'm keeping possitive about this. whilst Simon replaces the suspected number 5, I'll get him to do the wastegate/acuator. Get a full exhaust that goes to quad also Then I'll get her back stronger and meaner then ever. Then just gotta save for those bastard rims. I'll get them 1 day I swear

I filled up with 98 at the bp in canning vale about 3 hours before this happened

It's getting towed this morning to Titan in Melville because I'm sick of challenger ford f*cking me around, I've bought all my cars from them and it's taken them 3 days to look at my car then tell me 'oh the noise is coming from the engine' Idles fine, there was no lights on the dash that came on, there was no loss in power, just a weird rattling noise. If The boys at Titans tell me it's not the flex plate either then I'm gonna have to get it towed to Simon's and see whats the go from there. whether its a re-build or not, I'll just have to get the money together and get him to make sure this doesn't happen again, might as well do the wastegate/acuator while the car is there. I just feel drained at the moment, my car is everything to me and to have it off the road is such a piss off cuase I don't have any other form of transportation. I'll keep you all posted.

Yeah my car finally got looked at today by challenger ford in rocko... Yeah apparantly the noise isnt coming from the flex plate at all, it's coming from the engine. They are saying its a bent rod or something.. My car has just clicked over 14k's 07 BF MK II Must be the first BF to f*ck something up internally lol Anyways I'm getting it towed to titan ford in Melville tommorow becuase they actually have some idea about these cars. And if it IS something internal well then I guess I'm screwed and my car is up for sale. *sigh* Or I'll swap for an xr8 with an exhuast.. I'm just tired of my car always being off the road etc

I'd go the plenum,full exhuast system (as mentioned in the previous posts) With yours being a BA, the bottom end needs to be stronger. Pretty much agree with what groper said. I'm on the standard wastegate/acuator and mine only managed to get 13psi through. Doing this opens the door to alot more.

I was too lazy to, I just masked up around throughly with paper etc and just sprayed what I could get to silver, looked legit, only look dodgey when I upgraded to the bigger cooler half was silver half was black

I was driving back from midland today and my car felt completely fine, I pull up to my drive way and its rattling like a muther fker Idles Fine no missing, just a god forsaken rattle ive been told it could be the flex plate or the bottom end bearing, I've just organised it to be towed to ford.. wish me luck guys :( oh and any advice etc would be much appreciated cheers Aaron.

I bought a 2$ silver spray from supercheap auto and sprayed it straight on my stock cooler no worries at all.

I got pissed for that sh*tty excuse of a grand final lol When I was out walking around having drinks with mates a few weeks ago eagles played some sh*tty team think it was the bombers they won at like 9pm, and by like 11pm the papers were getting delivered and everything about the game and stats and all that sh*t with pics etc, I thought it took longer then that! Match fixing so bad me thinks :o
