  1. Thought I would throw it out there on here before I open to the world of Stalkbook and Slum Tree. Got a full set of FG F6 rods, pistons and rings from my donor engine. They have done just on 30,000km, still in great nick and was going to re-use but changed my mind and upped my game. Lemme know and I can send through pics, even have the bearings if people want to inspect
  2. Wow Ford Performance mag must have been scraping for articles that month
  3. Yeh the manifold and exhaust on mine is quite Supra-ish
  4. $$$$$ To run those mate
  5. ^^^^ Wouldn't need that much HP to reach the 8 barrier, yes its a big jump but it would come down a lot more to the setup of the car.
  6. turboknapp

    300 kmph

I would run out of gearing any further than the 1000m, that and I don't have the power to pull 6th Not interested in changing ratio that will effect the daily drive ability of my car
  7. Can you get them started, then put a block of wood between them and the suspension arm and jack the arm up. That is normally the easiest way to do it
  8. Which Phil are we talking bout? One Phil is probably happy to show and tell bout his trophies, other Phil may not haha
  9. You turning it into a manual at the same time or it already is?
  10. ^^^^ More likely that they become hot air pumps and just increase intake temps
  11. While not apples and oranges, Real Street Performance have been pushing 35+ psi through the Gen 2 GTX3582. Granted on a smaller displacement engine, but the application is there for them.
  12. Gen 2 GTX will flow 600kw with the right supporting mods. Obviously paper ratings are always different from rear world, but it is a rated 900hp turbo Much like the 6466, it will do it also but what is the life span haha
  13. Can you show pics of front splitter as well please
  14. While Mark is talking to Gav from GT Graphics, it would be a perfect time to get that sticker made as well Keen to get the cars to Roll on Racing
  15. ^^^ #NODYNO hahah
  16. We can certainly talk bout it mate, happy to help out other enthusiasts where I can
  17. I was just laughing bout the mention of the hat in the RW thread. Got a FG F6 long block, intake manifold from that is now sitting in Luke's car and Flex plate is in the back of Lazy Brennan's (car people, the best recyclers in the world) Engine has been stripped, will be sent off for machining, cleaning and check crank alignment. Following bits going in ARP Head and Main Studs Spool H Beam Rods Mahle Pistons Factory Crank - going on what you've said bout your car I may look at getting mine doweled as well. Not that I will be making as much power as you Upgraded Oil Pump housing and gears Atomic Timing Gear ACL Bearings Engine Girdle I'm still deciding what way I am going to go, but I will through the TBRE cams in to start. If I'm not a fan will just put the FG one's in it. Think I have everything, probably something I missed. I am starting assembly asap as then I may have it in before RW2018 haha
  18. It was an awesome wkend, I feel for Luke and the car issues. He could have made a fortune walking the carpark with his laptop doing log runs and tune touch ups. The Gen 2 is good, we didn't really have it working super hard and unfortunately didn't get a chance to test out the aggressive tune. Seeing 17.5psi at 2950, eboost was saying peak was 19.4. This was with bout 17 degrees timing. Dyno read 500hp, but it felt like it was pulling more. Need to get the engine finished, when that is done with cams etc will make some difference and will be really able to lean on the car.
  19. Ruff as F*ck!!!!!! I liked how every solution to a problem that came from Chris involved throwing moar boost at the cars haha
  20. Been a really busy couple of wks leading up to RW2017, so bit of an update and a long read! So after the demoralizing failure of my GTX, managed to get a replacement for the car. In another life time and not such a short deadline I would have gotten rid of the low mount setup etc and gone to high mount, no real budget and time meant like for like footprint was found - GTX3582R Car all sorted and running, it was off for the big wkend, primer convoy away Accommodation was all sorted by Steve (who I must say has the fanciest driving shirts around) Cars made it all in one piece Couple of shots from over the wkend @IH8TOADS and some weird Lurker @Uberxr Seeing Double Some unicorns and a unicorn hunter Fastest NA F6 in the Country @Ralph Wiggum All in all a fantastic wkend with a brilliant bunch of *beep*, looking forward to next year already. The cars made it through and there was no major destruction which is a great way to end a wkend Racing. Topped off being driven home in the Support Vehicle from Hell This took all the gear did countless runs back and forth and even managed to let a single spinner go, could not have asked for anything more from the Daily Wiggum Bus
  21. I think he was meaning out of the B series that ran. He went 241km, Toads went 255km
  22. that's mine Marco, Didnt go as good as I had wanted. I did the 235km run on 500hp, unfortunately shift 1-2-5-3rd. Ran 237km in the 800m roll on
  23. Haha, Steve has just had the 320kw touched up. He is well under 400kw
  24. Ran 237km on the last run for the day, was really happy considering how little timing there is in the current tune
