the funny thing was I had just had the car serviced were I asked them to check all the manifold bolts were tight , when I checked them after this had happened I found the rear top exhaust bolt only hanging in by a few threads,, totally obvious by sight alone that it was loose

I have checked all the clamps, jacked the car up and grabbed the turbo delivery hose when the car waas running and gave it a good wobble I did not seem to be loose or did the noise change,, which I thought the noise would change if the hose had popped,,, as far as my clamps go they are still the stock ones keep meaning to get the worm type but have not got around to it yet

Hi The other day took my xr6t for a quick drive after the 105km service gave a bit of stick a few times, then on the last time I was excelerating heard a loud woosh sound like something depressureing, then lost all my power, and have got a noise, like a exhaust leak comming from the drivers side rear of the engine sounds like it is under the rear heat shield,, checked all my clamps and hoses, cannot find anything, my car is stock except for a custom 10psi tune, any ideas would be appreciated.

I have recently received mu cappa box and flashed the 10 psi tune to my 2004 BA T I ran like that 4 a day and was very impressed with the the power gain, I then re gapped my plugs to .8mm and the car seems to have lost some of the power gain ... the car runs smooth enough but the power lost concerns me. should I regap mthem to .85 or what,,, the car has done almost 90000 ks should I buy new plugs and if so what type

Thanks for that I think I will go with wiring another plug up as it will also give me the option of moving the whole base to another car

I do not believe that mine is a diff problem,,, as it only seems to happen on over slightly bummy roads,,, I have read on a previous thread that shockies stuffed or may be loose sway bar,,, or another thought was some bolt that bumps the fuel tank I think they said something about diff cradle... one more idea was a loose fuel tank

sorrry did not read the post properly you answered my question before I asked it but any tips on getting to the cig lighter source eg can you pull the cigeret lighter out or do you have to get behind it

The air vents on my T when on fresh air appear to be warmer than the outside temp is their any way of fixing this ( with out air con) . All help (constructive) Greatfully received

I just purchased a tom tom GO 710 great unit works well except I have it positioned on the far right of the dash and the only way to power it is with the custom mount ,,, unfortunatly the only power sourc to this unit is with this ugly cable that has to plug into the cigeret lighter power plug is their any options anybody knows off that I can power this thing with it being not so visible I have thought of trying to wire up another cigeret lighter plug under the dash near the drivers feet, that would leave the wire running down the right hand side ?????

New guy on the has a few questions This is my first car with any sought of computer so I say sorry if these questions seems a bit lame but 1) black exhaust,,, is the car running rich. 2) just bought cappa box, and waiting on delivery from one of the sponsors 8psi 10psi and valet tune what is a valet tune 3) what gap do you gap the plugs at when tune is loaded 4) car fresh air vent system ,,, air appears to come through slightly heated is this normal and if not were is the heater tap 5) car idles a bit rougth how ya fix,,, throttle body cleaning?
