  7. This is how it is to my understanding, so... If you have your P's BEFORE July 1st this yr the current power to weight rules apply, 125KW per tone, the BA T's are about 140KW per tone, so they are clearly over. But for poeple that get there P's AFTER July first the new rules apply, which I didnt bother reading as it wont affect me... Now the for the interesting part... After July 1st if ANY P plater that is caught driving a high powered vehicle gets a 3 point fine and upto a $1100 fine... Oh and I'm off my P's/21 in December too, so I think after July 1st I'm parking my car and driving the EF (I only got 2 points left...) Hope that helps
  8. Well it tuned out to be a great day the whether was fantastic!!! Would have been better if more people where. I managed to do a 14.1179@102.41mph on my T completely, so I'm pretty happy with that!!! and I got something like 20+ runs in too
  9. I'm gonna whatch this topic, I'm not a fan of the std stoppers...
  10. So who's coming??? I cant wait to take me new car for test!!! But if you are please try and put you name on the list on fordmods.com It helps the organisers know whats happening...
  11. I'll have two of these when you sort out the issues you have getting them to work properly. It'll be good to know what they can read, I hope the read out, boost, oil pressure, engine temp, I couldnt care about the rest, but engine oil temp would be good too!!!

    Gauges

Or you could buy a wide band sensor, but that'l' set you baock at least $350. With the stock narrow band sensor it's pretty much either ON or OFF at the switching point (correct me if I'm wrong) of an AFR of about 14.7

    Gauges

Just thinking but wont a AFR gauge be pretty much useless because the factor oxy sensor it's only a narrow band, and to get the proper use from a AFR gauge you need a wide band Oxy sensor welded into your exhaust...
  15. Mate since you have a ute it wont drone anyway, unless you dump the exhaust off at the dump pipe Oh and it would also be cheaper not to get the hot dogs!!!
  16. what do ya mean by that???
  17. You can race if your not a member... You just wouldnt be in the running for any of the trophies or prizes But is it really that hard to become a member???
  18. NAME: Stefan AGE: 20 JOB: Electrical Tester (I work in power distrabution sub stations for CitiPower)
  19. Hey just letting people know that the fordmods.com drag day has been re-booked, We will be racing through the Morning Session which runs from 11:00am to 4:30pm Saturday 16th June 2007 at Heathcote Raceway. Cheers Stefan
  20. After results like those a retune deffinatly sounds like a good idea
  21. So tell me this, Does doing this mod in a SEDAN with just straight through pipes(no hotdogs) drone more than a e-series 6cyl falcon with a 2.5" exhaust??? Oh and only say if you actually know and not just guess!! Cheers Stefan
  22. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but dont get 3" exhaust as it's actually going backwards, it flows less than the STD one, which is twin 2.25"... So if ya gonna upgrade your exhaust get either a 3.5" all the way or a twin 2.5" or You could go the cheap option and just get the centre muffler removed??? Stefan
