Hey guys, I thought some of you might be interested in this! Fordmods.com is holding there Bi-annual drag day up at Heathcote Raceway. It will be afternoon/night session to take advantage of the cold country night air!! We have organised an afternoon session which runs from 5pm to 10pm on Saturday 15th March 2008. As per usual, we have three racing classes: N/A I6 N/A V8 Blown / Forced Induction / NOS There will be trophies up for grabs and to be eligible for them you must be a registered Fordmods member and you must be driving a Ford on the night. But non fords can still race! We have a couple of LS1’s coming. For racer's the fee is $40 to be paid upon entry to the Raceway. For spectators, the fee is $10. I'm with RACV, I rang them up tp see what I could do with in there policy. And this is it: You can change exhaust, but only from the CAT BACK, must retain OEM dump pipe and cat. NO engine/induction mods, EVERY THING under the bonnet must be factory. The car can be lowered 35mm from the base model hight, ie you can lower an XT but you cant lower your XR... But I never asked about wheels...

Is that all you did?? So you still have the standard cat and intercooler...

Well Here's my cooler install. Its the heavy duty PWR cooler. I also got an 11 inch thermo fan and a temp switch from Jaycar (the black box).

Yes the extra heavy duty one is the biggest. small is recomended for 4cyl medium is recomended for 6cyl Large is recomended for 8cyl heavy duty is recomended for high performance stuff

Whats so good about the BF dump pipe compared to the BA??

I'm finishing off my oil cooler this weekend, its similar to hiddeous set up above, but mine has a thermo fan and from the looks of it the cooler is bigger, But it was a really tight squeeze... I'll get some pics this weekend.

Well it was a wise choice to call it off, as I'm back at my folks in Yarragon (just near Warragul) and it's been raining pretty much non-stop since last night! And Inverloch would probably be copping all this rain aswell... Warragul-Korumburra Rd is very very twisty and fun in the dry but when it's wet and a milk tanker is coming the other way it can get very Would be a good cruise to do when it's a bit warmer! And I'll be off my P's!!!
