senna: Yes large quantities of coopers are assisting with the repairs...I needed empty bottles for bleeding the brakes.. Fordboy: No just a "running restoration" (I'm restoring, my bank account is running out of money) Rhino: Yes lots of fun with Lucas, the lord of darkness, Thankfully though I don't have the Marinelli ignition to contend with! Hmm yes...If was going to put an induction system on, I'd be really tempted to chuck a couple of turbo's into the mix and keep it all under the bonnet. Tim: The roof is in excellent condition, I've kept it under cover and theres no bubbling under there, but even if there was, I'd strip it, and re-do the vinyl, it just looks good on the car (and best to keep it original, it's 1 of 2500 made in 76) Had her running on all twelve today, glorious, went for a quick drive around the block, still heaps to do before I can get it rego'd but I'm making progress! here's a shot of the rear calipers all re-sleved and re-sealed, NB that the handbrake works on seperate calipers fitted ABOVE the main calipers, and I thought the japs were bad at putting bolts in impossible paces! here's the front, four pots per side, nice and beefy. Note the empty bottle to assist in bleeding (and maintaing sanity)
