OK, you bring the liver, we'll bring the Knee's and lets have a try. Perhaps mythbusters could give it a go, they could use a pig....Oh hangon, wrong way round.... I had a mate in the Ambo's in Kal, they were called to the police station to attend a drunk Aboriginal who had passed out, they did the checks, no indications of any injury / illness so they left. He later died of a brain Haemorage, largely caused by a life of alcohol abuse. Although the coroner stated that there was no-way the Ambo's could have picked it, they got disciplined by St John's....to keep the local Aboriginals happy. That's Just wrong. Years of Alcohol abuse can damage the liver also, who knows what happened? One things for sure, if we crucify every Ambo / policeman / fireman every time they MAY have made a mistake no poor b@stard will do the job. Pehaps the court got it wrong, perhaps the court got it right, no system is perfect. I for one find pride in the fact that I live in a society that is liberal enough to call a commission into black deaths in custody. that's no iditement of the system, it's a sign of healthy interospection!
