I am looking at getting rid of my 05 bf xr6t ute, not quite finished but has most of the gear. whats it worth? 82000km rapid yellow, sports leather, gauges pedders suspension all round including coil over front. 11" clutcy and billet flywheel 3 1/2" turbo back exhaust, 50mm wastegate pipe gt42r high mount, 50mm waste gate. rapid cooler and plamzaman plenum bov prob more but cant think atm. also comes with fibreglass fpv bodykit, un painted, set of new hd valve springs

Nah guards standard. not really after stance just fit. yeah my ftonts were 8.5 and 35 offset I didn't get a chance to see what my rear 9.5 offset was. want to order very soon. maybe the wheel company may know what they normal ofer. Just hope they look good object the ute that's all I am worried about

Just sold my 19s 8.5 and 9.5 and didn't see what off set I had. can any tell me what offset I need to fit . will have 245 front and 275 rears. need to order asap so any help would be great.

Nat dipstick is fine. everything else seems normal. been told there is a sensor round the back of the head. is this right? Could it be leaking

nah the sound is coming from back of engine, turbo sounds fine, can here it spin freely after shutting down

its not blowing hoses off, just lets pressure out once stoped out the radiator cap. but now I am gettin the same sound, the high pitch noise, and its sounds like coming from back of the motor. no idea what it is

Ok cool thanks for that, I will attempt it tomorrow and see what happens, I am guessing the basket is stuffed, no other way there could be pressure in the radiator and not over heating

Was going to do a comp test on my ute this weekend as I suspect I have a blown head gasket , getting pressure in the radiator, just wondering if its like older cars, disconnect coil coils in thus case, stop the fuel? Maybe by removing fuse for fuel pump. is this how u do it? I have been told to watch as ecu may play up if coil packs art connected. Can anyone explain the steps to comp test on ba bf thanks

yeah that's the one I like, would like to have it look like that, except I will hava a fpv kit on it, and thinking of centre exhaust, and custom bonnet. this will be a demo car for my fibreglass business. this is what it currently looks like, has front bar off to get on truck, was going to get dump pipe made up

its not really a daily, more of weekender, my partner has a xr5 so we use that alot. not sure on mechanical, got a couple choices, but wont be massive build, already have most gear on the ute including gt42r and 50mm wastegate just gonna add some spool rods and cp pistons and main girdle and oil pump gears just to be safe and run low 20s to 25 psi through it. as for custom bonnet will be doing it my self, got a couple options, so far its a xr8 hump widened and extended to back of bonnet reverse scoop style with whol of back oped to release hot air.

thought about wraping but not keen on it, yeah the ute is straight cept for dents on bonnet, but I am making a custom bonnet anyway. just an idea at the moment, looking at enigne build, and while that was being done was gonna spary the ute.

at the moment looking at a full biuld of my xr ute. engine and paint currently it is rapid yellow, but as need to paint my fibreglass body kit, and custom bonnet when I finish it, looing at a full spray, and wanted somthing differnt , so instead of the yellow was thinking matt black, whats everyones thoughts? rapid yellow or matte black? or any other sugestions? tahanks

was this happening all the time? or just when turning? I get noises and vibrating when turning left, only left from the right hand front

Dosnt seem to be oveer heating, temp gauge never goes over half. no smoke that I am aware of. all else seems ok.

been having trouble in my turbo ute, loosing coolent, which I find it squirts out the overflow once ute is turned off. is it a blown head gasket allowing air to enter water jacket. what else could it be, dont relly wanna pull apart until I need to, if it is, will do full rebuild not just doin gasket

yeah that's what I was thinking gop bigger now then dont have to upgrade later. I have just done turbo upgrade with a gt42r. who does the best price on id's

for the moment will be just 98. I was looking at the 80lb Siemens for the price, but I dont wanna have to upgrade again if I decide to go further with the build. I will only be pushing 400rwkw for the moment as I have standerd bf mk 1 engine. I pretty much have all the other gear to go alot further, turbo, cooler, plenum, fuel pums, etc looking at id1000s now but pricey
