  1. AFAIK, the leaf sprung rear end makes the stock utes slightly heavier than stock sedans. Not much in it though and Al has removed some weight from stock (I think)
  2. A member on the other forum, he's had his handle shortened and is now known as just "3".
  3. Very well done Al, 2.0 is an awesome 60ft time for a barge-arsed BA
  4. Cartons are mates rates, brothers work for free...at least that's what my brother says whenever he wants some work done...
  5. Hey mate, The stock snorkel takes in air from the top of the radiator. A turbo snorkel fits the same mounts as the stock item but it has a bigger mouth. The XR8/F6 lower snorkel is a second snorkel which takes air from behind the passenger side headlight and is about 3 times the size of the stock snorkel. It's at least as good as SS reductions, if not better, and half the price even from Ford dealers. You can either cut the hole in your stock airbox for the second snorkel or buy one pre-cut. Part nos are: lower snorkel - BAF 9C676B pre-cut box - BAF 9A600A
  6. Nice healthy gain there mate, more than I expected. Your car seems dangerously lean at the bottom end though. Mine starts off rich and leans out steadily to max power. Adding extractors and exhaust leaned out the whole range and flattened it a bit but still the same shape. Yours does the opposite so Im wondering whether that is the TB, tune, extractors or some combination of all 3.
  7. Nice mate. I'm also keen to see the results of this.
  8. This is something I've been thinking/making enquires about and from what I can gather so far, the T heads have: Hardened valve seats Hardened valves (exhuast definitely, not sure about intake) Stronger springs Different plugs The castings are the same and the cams are the same. With all that in mind, stock n/a and T heads should flow pretty much the same. The only real benefit would be from a strength/longevity perspective. That said, if you were to build a tough n/a engine (balanced crank, forged rods and high comp pistons, custom grind cams), a ported and shaved T head might be a good option for those same reasons.
