Hey guys I think my windscreen water pump on my bf ute shat itself (no water,no noise). Where is the pump located and is it easily accessible. Cheers in advance.

Ros.. ANY aftermarket speakers will be an improvement on the the factory stock. The great thing about ute's is that you can just buy some good front splits and personally I would buy an amp and you'll defn notice a difference.

I got a 10" Hertz sub with a custom box made that just sits behind the passenger seat in my ute. I wasn't after the doof doof sound and it just suits me fine.

Hey guys.. just want to ask those guys who have installed an aftermarket audio head unit. Is forking out $500 for a unit really make a HUGE difference in sound quality or should I save it on suspension. My car already has an Alpine amp with MB Quartz and a Hertz Sub box in it.

Hey guys I have BF Tornado with 30000km. I thinking about lowering the car a little just to get the even look. Just wanted to know do I really need to replace the shocks as well. I don't do any track work.. just daily driving. For those who did replace springs but not shocks.. did you regret not replacing the shocks. Cheers

Can't the rim be reshaped / fixed or is it too far gonski?? I had an Alfa once and warped my mags but go it fixed.

More often then not the repairers will salvage the bits that can be amended cheaply and yes all they need is VIN number and ownership details. Your new ute will be same colour?

Looks the good!! I bought some MDF and speaker carpet and made the dividers. Works well, but freakin heavy as I had to glue/nail the sheets to get the correct width for a tight fit between the tray arches/gaps. Hey Meshman how heavy are your dividers?

I bought a 10" HERTZ sub for my ute... (paid approx $400 with custom box) and I'm happy with it.

I've been using a product called 'ToughSeal" which is something similar to to Infinity Plus. Bit expensive but I luv it.

When I first read the thread I was going to buy the lc6, but now I'm back to square 1. To those who have used the lc6 .. is there a "big" difference in sound quality from the stock stereo.

Na farg it off.. it's just another selling pitch for these guys to make money. Like the rest said .. it'll probably cost you less doing it yourself. If you do go with .. ask if you are able to watch them do it. My bro use to work for a car yard that did the protection and more often then not the guys just don't cover the WHOLE car.

I upgraded my standard xr to the "chunkier type" and I love it. Yes the leather is softer and "duller" than my standard, but it feels lighter and sportier. I got my off ebay for approx 500 and I'm sure someone on this forum will know install it for you for a carton :titwave: Highly recommend. I personally think they're better than the FPV FG ones which seems a little skinnier. Unfortunately the prices haven't dropped too much for these steering wheels, even 2nd hand ones. You just got to be careful with the aftermarket ones with airbags and insurance. ps check the forsale section in WA,, there's a guy selling his steering wheel

I've had both (prem and standard) for the extra $$ for premium I would rather spend on aftermarket speakers and amp.

gear surround and door trims.. there use to be a mob called "EQUIB" (I think) that made real cf panels for BF / BF interior. I have a feeling they're no more, but their original site suggested they trying to get it to some dealers?

hey guys .. a year ago there was a company that made carbon fibre interior for the BA/BF. I don't think they're around anymore. Does anyone know where they're available? Cheers
