ok.. now I'm really confused.. I can't remember whether my BF Tornado had the illumination or not. All other interior works. I thought my window controls and the audio controls on the steering wheels illuminated. How can I tell? I don't want to take it back if I didn't have it in the first place.

Guys I had just noticed that my illumination lights on steering and window controlls are not working. I did get a new stereo head unit placed in by a professional installer, so before I go back to them..can you guys tell what to check before. ie which fuse to check etc. Oh it's a BF ute. Hey guys.. I have in my BF Ute: 4 channel amp, 10" sub, front MB Q splits, all controlled via Alpine CDA117. Just want to know ..at this stage I faded system only to the front splits as the stock rear speakers are just s&*%. Is it worth buying a set of coaxials for the rear...will it make a difference....any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers

+1..the guys that use to make the real c/f interior bits for the BA/BF had gone bust or something along that line. I think there were some members who did buy the initial stock.

Ok had my 3m di noc on my gear surround for 6 months and have noticed bubbles on non flat surfaces. May need to look at getting some of that 3m primer94.

Hey guys.. I don't have a FG , but I initially went the same route with my BF. Most of the newish amps have builtin converters in them therefore basically no need to spend extra for a line level converter. It's def'n an improvement with an amp and after market speakers. I just got installed an Alpine Hu and you can hear the diff.. The stock HU is very limited... my advice get an after market hu while you're shopping for amp/speakers...the Eclipse 5030 is going cheaply..or look in to processors such as the highly anticipated MS-8 (expensive though)

I don't mind them on the HSV's; however not sure about applying the same thing on the Fords...and as people have mentioned..I'm a liking da wheels!!

I installed an Alpine amp to my BF with the stock hu. The amp (and I think majority of the newish amps have) had builtin converters therfore it was basically plug n play. It will make a difference to your stock hu, however I just installed a CDA 117 ....IMO if you have the cash source an aftermarket hu...but yeah most newsish amps will do the trick.

Did this to my. Bought the DNA fascia kit and sprayed with PowerPlus SNB150 Metallic Silver.

Give FTG Auto Salvage a call..I had a letter come off my TORNADO..they gave me a set that was cheaper then the postage.

Bought one of these a year ago and set me back $600 , but worth it!!!..don't really like the new FG FPV ones..prefer the FPV BA/BF's. I'm sure someone here would take it off your hands for your price.

Agree with rest..even the tint that Ford offers are sh*t..unless they're throwing tint free save your money and shop around...I'm sure they're place that will offer better range of tint for the same price

I know the FG's won't fit the BF.

Guys, I have Tornado with climatic control..but just realised that one face vent (passenger) is cold and the other vent is hot..this is when I have the heater going. Haven't really taken noticed as I normally don't have heater on..is this normal???
