Nulon 10w-40 Full Syn on my BF Tornado..I luv it ...cheaper then other "major" brands, but tends to get a bit dirty once over 7000kms. There are some great reviews on it.
I thought the FPV FG's have clips/buttons on their floor like the BF's. The mat they made just buttons on to the floor. If you dont want the clips . I'm sure they can make it without it.
Yeah guys, one logo came off and the other is about to as well. The guys made it with clips and they do seem to "lock" in better then the original. They showed me another FPV mat with GT-P embroided on (looked great) Only cost me $110 for a pair .
I'm not too sure but give Race Brake a call. They are outstanding in giving advice. Good pads for their price but again a little noisier than standard.
Currently using Hawk pads..and yes less dustier than standard, but there is a little bit of noise as most have reported (however, I'm using dba rotors). They/re ok..cheaper then Ford pads.
I'm using Hawk pads..was warned they they can be noisy..have had them for over 2 months and they do sqeek a bit compared to originals, but thet they do the trick. I have heard good things about remsa's.
Guys I'm about to replace my stock Dunlops on rear with a set of non Dunlop tyres. I'm keeping my front dunlops, but wanted to know are there any adverse affect to car or tyres if I put a different brand/tread pattern tyre on rear of car.
I think a few members did buy the CF panels though they were pricy. The company/guy that was making them lost / destroyed (can't remember) the mould and therefore couldn't replicate them. They did look really cool
guys.. seems to be an easy job but having having some prob in removing the battery from my bf. I've unscrewed the clamp that secures the battery, but the bugger won't come out (the battery has the black plastic cover around it)...is it just a matter of using strength and pulling the fugger out without care or is there something I haven't loosen.
I'm in the same boat, but have purchased DBA's. I don't think Matt from Race Brake Sydney stock Resma pads as I too asked. I'm leaning towards Hawk pads as recommended by Race Brake. I cannot find any short term availability of QFM (HPX) pads for FPV (even from QFM). Hey Hiddeous..have you installed your Remsa's yet. Interested in your feedback
Fully synthetic Nulon on my Tornado. I was using Mobil (fargin expensive), but was recommended Nulon by members on this forum. Alot cheaper cheaper then other brands.
yeah contacted them too as I was after the QFM (HPX) pads and they said that the Remsa come with noise reducing features such as a relief groove and shamfers in the pad material, as well as a soft backing shim, all of which the HPX do not.
guys..I was informed that the jack point covers on the left and right bf Tornado (and other fpv'S)are different (ie diff part numbers) I lost the passenger side ;and out of curiosity I took right side and inserted in the missing slot and to me it fitted.... Are they both the same even though different part numbers???
yep what trough lolly said... my tight arse mate bought some of that cheap copy stuff and started to peel off..he rekons he didn't clean the surface properly. Get the real stuff!!
