lol I thought you were me!!!!! hahaha nah I am the same age in tville and in the same boat as you! dont go to a dealer. I am going to buy one early next year and will probably go through a broker and jsut tell them what I want and just wait till they find it! as for a loan...... save up as much as you can as the deposit and shop around (try www.ratecity.com.au) I found it fairly helpful. although if your job lets you salary sacrifice have a look at that option. do some calcs because it is better for high income earners clocking up a few kms to make it viable. insurance I was very surprised. currently wih aami and havent had any trouble but got a quote through for a 2005 BaMk11 manual turbo and was like $915 although I have held insurance since I was a bit over 16 and comprehensive for 3 years with a clean driving record. this quote was a bit over $100 less than what aami can do for me. also from what I have noticed there isnt much around our area. so shop around and be prepared to buy from brissy or even interstate to get what you want. you will be surprised on car transport costs and will def come in alot cheaper buying down south than the overpriced cars up here! Anyway let me know if you have any more questions I have been researching the exact same thing for a while!
