We used Herrod springs which are King springs SSL and it dropped the ride height by 25-30mm and I wouldn't go any lower myself as speed bumps and kerbs become a big problem.

Had the Maxxis Z1 on the 330rwkw F6 and for the price they were very good in the wet and dry and they were around $280-290 I think. Better tyre than the Dunlop anyway.

I got the full Herrod suspension package on the 03T which is king springs,Bilsteins shocks,camber kit and this dropped the car 30mm front and rear which cost $2500 and the Ford Dealer in Morley fitted it all up and it was worth the money as it transformed the steering and handling. Also fitted the Herrod springs to the 05 Phoon and it dropped the car 30mm and it sat on the road and handled great and no camber kit fitted. The standard shocks on the phoon are pretty good according to peddlers so I didn't change them. Sorry about the small pic but it's the only one I have of the phoon on this computer but hopefully you will get the ride height of the king springs. The T has the same springs on it in this pic.

G'Day Mr Les Car is still going good and because some little mongrel put 2 scratches on the front passengers door while it was in our car port it go's in this Thursday to get the whole door repainted. Dona is wrapped with the car and I have only driven it 4 or 5 times since we got it and it's got 8000k's on it now. Just waiting for the edit to come out for the Mondeo which should be shortly I hope. You thinking about the edit for your beast? It will give you better fuel economy as well so that's a good enough reason to get it done and also get the bung removed from you exhaust at the same time. Check on this site as well as the other ford forum site for the best tuner in your area. Cheers Strawbs

Evertime it rains the idiots come out to play and then this crap happens and they clamp down even harder on the hoon laws. Any one with half a brain knows how lethal these cars are in the dry let alone the wet. It was raining pretty hard one day and this XR6T in front of me was doing 110 and a dunnydore went past him and of course the Ford driver was having none of it and layed the boot into the car and went sideways straight away and drifted onto the other side of the dual lane carraige way sideways and fish tailing and came within a whisker of losing it at 110kph and I just thought what the hell is this guy thinking in weather like this...... Why even bother with trying to out do the SS Holden. Needless to say his butt would clinging on to the car seat after that little experiance and hopefully he learned something that day. Crap weather means drive to the conditions. End of rant

We have a female German shepard 3 years old now and she is a great guard dog. We have those security screen doors you can see out but you can't see in and she knows it. After the lawn mower bloke mows the lawn he comes to the front door and he knows we have the dog but forgets about the screen door and the dog sits there watching him mow the lawn and knows he will come to the door for payment so she waits till he knocks on the door and then lets him have the I'm going to rip your arms off bark and he jumps back a foot or two. The other thing she does is chase birds off the back lawn. She will watch the birds on the lawn and gets quite miffed about it as that is her turf. I'll open up the screen door and she is off like a rocket to pick up her mauled soccor ball then runs around the yard with the ball in her mouth and all the heckles on her back are up and she shakes the crap out out of her ball and gives out a few growls and then looks back at me with the ball still in her mouth as if to say how was that effort Dad I sure scared the crappers out of that dove.

The FG may be new and great to drive etc etc...But it's not an FPV and after awhile there will be heaps of FG Turbo's on the road. Having the FPV parked in your drive way will bring a smile to your dial everyday as ours did every time I looked at it and it didn't matter that it was 2 years old as the car was well looked after. Ask any FPV driver about their car and what it means to have one. Sex on wheels mate that's all I can say.

I don't see the point in making an F6 look like the GTE! You either buy one or the other IMO and I'm sure the money it would cost to buy these things and the spray paint them should be better spent on a KB or whipple and that will make the V8 get up and boogie. If you did those things to your F6 you would be nothing more than a RICER IMO and we know on this forum how much crap they cop as they have there own Topic.

I haven't seen one yet but the style is slowly growing on me. What I dont see on the FG is the BA-BF style rear wing as it looks the goods and you know damm well it's a Phoon when you see it. ( Unless some wan*er has one on his XR6T ) The GT retains it's wing but it's a litter smaller I think and the GT looks better than the F6 in styling with this on hands down as everyone who see's it knows it's the GT ( Unless some wan*er has one on his XR8 ) FG F6 MK11 = Bring back the F6 rear wing
