Shell's Cat Cracker (Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit ) is down it had major issuses and crashed when they tryed to bring it down for repairs as for Caltex, a several weeks ago there was a fire on one of the units which caused a shortage in fuel, then not long after that there were some operational errors which cause some shortages again

Like you I too work in a oil refinery some of you may not know that toluene is absorbed into metals and once its there its there the only way to remove it from the metal is by heating the metal then the toluene releases from the metal but as a vapor, which is worse then when its is a liquid im not saying the liquid toluene is good, it BAD sh*t, its just even worse in vapor form as previously stated it is a solvent and with harm the rubber in the fuel system eg hoses o-rings in injectors etc just my 2cents
