so when the dunlop is taken out of production our cars will handle like crap!!!! while I still think they put out a tender, they would want there cars shod with a competent tyre, dunlop.brigstone, michelin etc,a main brand if u like.that's not to say any other brand is no good but I mean the main players. Granted, the munro will handle different to the ford, its supposed to,its a different car, however while there may be lap time differences,BRAKING distances should remain fairly static. Remember, you are entitled to your opinion as I am mine

If u honestly believe that I bet you still believe in santa and the tooth fairy.Ford would put out a tender for a sh*tload of tyres,Best price gets the gig-simple as that. what happens if dunlop cease to manufacture sp9000,s.will ford do a recall so they can re-engineer the suspension geometry,I think not!

the latest issue of motor mag has a test on a bunch of 18 inch tyre Best wet braking from 80kph-0 was the falken-32.4 metres. The worst for the same test was the bridgestone potenza-44.0 metres.that's a 11.6 metre difference.BIG DIFFERENCE The shortest distance in the dry testing from 100kph-0 was once again the falken with 37.7 metres, the worst being the dunlop sp9000(as fitted standard by ford) with a distance of46.1 metres-8.4 metre difference The difference in lap times was marginal, half a sec or something, and at the end of the day I would rather stop short of the bus pulling out or the kid running on to the road than get to the pub half a sec faster. For around $100.00 a tyre cheaper than the others it dosnt sound like a bad option.

just wondering why the trend for road car tyres seems to bigger wheels with a low profile tyre. Is this for cosmetic reasons or does the combo of low profile/larger rim make your car handle and steer better? Now, your all thinking that of course it makes for better handling right! Then has any one seen the profile on a f1 or an indy car,not exactly low profile are they!!!!!!!
  10. This how it works on mine:put key in ignition, turn to on-then off three times, get out walk around car three times anti clockwise then once clockwise, open and close the boot, kick left rear tyre then get in put seat belt on,sweet.

  14. Was gunna reply last nite but the cheese and kisses was givin me the come on.Had to jump into the fart sack and throw the leg over.I grabbed a cheap bottle of plonk and a franga-dont wanna get her up the duff with a belly full of arms and legs, streuth, already got a couple of ankle biters running around now. After I done the deed she wants to have a bit of a chin wag but all I wanted was to stare at the back of me eyelids and chuck out some zzzzzz's ,so I rolled over, cut the cheese and said nigh nigh.

  16. its where u hide your flubbing drums
  17. ok-Take out the black thingy behind the number plate, just grab it and give it a good tug,its only clipped in.Now just hold the herrods grill up to it,make sure the centre lug is in the middle and about half an inch from the front edge.drill a hole about 5mill.mark out and drill the other 2 lugs then put black thingy(technical name) back on ya car.put some masking tape on the lower edge of your spoiler(where the new grill is goinf to fit) so u dont scratch it up. Slide new grill into position, pushing the lugs into the holes, and push it back to where u like it to sit>mark and drill hole-2 mill or there abouts now if u look under neath the front of your car you will see there is a tray bolted up to the under edge of the spoiler, undo these bolts,5 or6,pull it down and get your hand in behind there to put a self tappper in to hold your new grill in place.put your bolts back in ,grab a couple of coldies, sit back aaaaahhhhhh :D
  18. looks like its parked outside the bowls club up the road from my place :D I think the drink holder sucks if u got a manual!put a couple of stubbies in it and u gotta get all spastic to change gears
