this is very simalar to a system that was used on a couple of gp bikes in the seventies or eighties for memory,I think a company called lockheed may have pionered this concept or something similar but seemed more of a gimmick than anything else

use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive then u can just use your finger nail to pop it off.Use some metho to clean off the glue that is left on it, and NO, metho will not harm your paint.Ihave the badges removed of the boot and I think it just looks cleaner

A mate of mine has a n/a xr6 and has asked me to see what u guys can come up in regards to his problem;occasionally when he starts it it will blow smoke,he uses no throttle on startup so that discounts that theory.His car has done about 5000 klickothingys and has had an oil change at 1000 k's.He has also mentioned that sometimes it can turn over a few more times before it actually fires up. I told him the best way to fix it would be to trade up to a turbo :lol:

does any one have a simalar problem to mine;Vibration occurs only when car is full.ie,4 or 5 people in it. It isnt a thing that happens at any given speed,just under acceleration,both moderately hard and flat to the floor.I dont think it is a wheel balance because it would be prominent at a given speed Any body had anything like this happen

If u have never seen a Fueller run,get out to the "wisard" next time they r running I must have seen about 300 runs and I still get a chubbby when they start. 7000 horsepower 0-100 m/p/h in less than a second I saw a run where the car launched and snapped a blower belt at the 60 foot mark,he shut it down and coasted through and still ran quicker than my turbo They reckon that when 2 fuellers launch they measure 2.5 klickothingamajiggies on the richtascale

Im just wondering if fitting an intercooler to a car without a turbo would be any benifit we all no the gains from cold air induction so why could u not take it a step further and allow it to run thru an intercooler,cooler air flow means a more dense mixture,denser mixture means bigger bang ,means more power!!! Sound good in theory

a mate of mine has an xr6 and just lately we have noticed an intermitent buzzing sound coming from the dash somewhere.Like I said it dosnt do it all the time,sounds kinda like a mozzie on the juice,does it at various speeds and with the sounds on and off.Any one have any clues where to start looking-I know if he takes it to the workshop he could drive around all day with the mechanic and it would not do it

I think the worst are your average joe blow who decides to do the family roadtrip thing.Here is your average mug who may commute to and from work 5 days a week,20 to 40 kays a day. holiday time comes,load up the boot,stick a couple of hundred kilo's of crap on the roof racks,toss in a couple of whinging kids and the missus and he's off.Dosnt matter that the camry handles like a bucket of sh*t!Thinks he can drive like Schumacker,and he ends up losing it and killing some other poor bas*ard out for a drive.Ive seen it happen.

If done correctlly it isnt that much of a chore,if all u do is polish your car and dont apply a wax your paint will be crap after a few years.

I got 2 on mine,both have 6 inch outlets and the sounds awesome,I have them fitted so the are angled upwards.got to watch it when it rains though cause u tend to get a bit of water in there when its parked

take the old rd from hornsby,thru Mt White.You will go thru peats ridge,past the old Oak milkbar(used to have the BEST milkshakes) If u wanna go the real long way go over Wisemans ferrry out to windsor and up the putty rd to sigleton,then double back to Cessnock If u wanna take a shorter route then there is a back way from peats ridge ,little bit bumpy but a good drive,it would take about an hour from there to cessnock
