NO BLOW OFF VALVE HURTS YOUR TURBO! Sorry for yelling but this surge is air trying to push your turbo back the other way, not good for longevity, or so I believe... Your car will have worse response between shifts because the plumback nature of the standard BOV "plumbs" wasted charge air "back" into the intake, reducing the effort of the turbo to spool back up after a gear change. If you want some noise and close-to-factory response after gear changes, get a "dual port" blow off valve, I have the kompact dual port from turbo smart, it fits in the same spot as the factory unit and sounds pretty good, not to woggy, but you know its there!
