The reason the screen goes black is because when you have your lights on its generally night time and dark inside the cabin, with the normal bright screen it would be too much of a distraction and it would cause your eyes to be constantly re-adjusting whenever you looked at the road and then the screen.

I simply upgraded the 5x7 speakers with Boston replacements and it sounds alot better, an wftermarket sub is the next step, as the standard one is just hopeless

Hey all, has anyone ever had their flash tuner die on them? Iwas in at CV on monday and got a tune done, con wanted to play around with it some more, that's cool, all of a sudden my flash box wont accept anything, I left it with them until today and I went back, no go..... apparently the box has just died, I can still load a 5psi tune with the siemens injectors, or the factory tune, but with the squirters it won't work. Anyway, the guys will get me a new box, I was just wondering if anyone else on here had a similar problem??? CHeers, Pat

I found most are holding in there, that said, you should probably change them all with a good quality lipped edge clamp when you can get around to it, doing it your self will save you heaps and its pretty easy, the ultratune weren't charging you for the clamps themselves, it was the labour involved with pulling the hoses off

oil pressure is probably a good one to have, as this is a very crutial bit of information, especially in a turbo car, low voltage can be annoying, but low or no oil pressure destroys engines...

tis not nessecarily "hard" to do a good job for $400, just ask CV performance, I think it depends on how many times the tuner has done a certain combination/power level. I took my car to CV yesterday and with siemens dekas, pwr cooler and cat back zorst we got 255rwkws at 8psi, I'm happy with that, and it's got a bit more in it before the valve springs go in..
