Yeah that's is. I've begun walking the dogs and all that, changed my diet, reduced portion size etc. I need access to gym so I can push some weight around again, my back is rat sh*t because of the spare tyre on the front of me, lol
Unfortunately not Ralphy - the old girl gave up the ghost last year some time, 'twas a sad day for all.... I wonder if they have ergonomic keyboards that fit on the dash of a VW Golf...?
Yeah a combination of things mate - needed new scenery, needed a better challenge ( things are fairly mundane here without a workshop) and I need to get a better pay cheque which wasn't going to happen any time soon here. I've been waiting 4 years for a store of my own but due to one thing or another it hasn't happened and I can't see it happening for at least another 12 months - I just don't want to wait and see anymore so I'm off!
WMMFGT (or yesterday) Handing in my resignation from Wholesale Suspension because I was successful in scoring a job with Liqui Moly (european oils and service products) Good time to move on and be challenged again!
Hey guys, Things are good. Change in Job coming up - handed in my resignation yesterday. I start with Liqui Moly on the 20th of April, so no more suspension bits and pieces!
Yes, that is the bleed nipple. remember to not let fluid level in the reservoir get below 1/3 as it's easy to suck more air through the system (if that is the issue)
From memory there isn't much to see on the outside, perhaps a sticker if that. It's not the answer you're looking for but either way round the T5 box was pretty useless in the Turbo unless the car was stock.
Yes the spare wheel will make a difference to the ride height. You have to remember that the springs are designed around a standard car with all the standard features in mind, if the vehicle is not the same then there will be variation. The ride height can vary left to right when the fuel tank is full or empty too since it's on the passenger side of the car.
Looks like a modular damper body that can be adapted to suit different applications with different mounting brackets and pins - I'd say they just put the package together depending on what you need or how far your budget will let you go.
Did you tighten all the bushes when the control arms were at full droop? This can bind the bushes and cause the car to sit higher in some cases. Also, a tow bar can make around 10mm difference in ride height since they sit so far back
