  1. It really depends on the quality of the parts you want to fit to your car... Tein is high quality and it is a complete kit which, as you can see, comes with rear shocks and bushes to suit the leaf springs. Compare this to say the XYZ coilover kit and you receive no rear shocks and no shackle bushes. Tein is made in Japan, XYZ is made in Taiwan Tein coil springs are made of high quality springs steel, XYZ coils are not. Tein struts are made of solid steel mounts, XYZ lower brackets have been known to bend (in BA/BF) Like always, there is a good reason why you pay more for one product compared to another when it comes to Suspension
  2. Unfortunately we can't look at it anymore Mick...no workshop these days, just supply only. Give us a call though and we can recommend a few workshops around Sydney
  3. Not the audi!?!
  4. Input shaft will generally only let go under quite a bit of stress, pretty rare on a stock car
  5. Speedy diffs...Con isn't it? They have done plenty of those installs, I don't think installation would be the problem...
  6. Sucker....
  7. Shifter linkage if the stick feels loose - I think the mechatronics unit is more internal and won't give you any physical signs...
  8. Jeebuz, Kimberly Scott, who rattled your cage? What brings the madman back to the mad house?
  9. Nah, what would you know? You only do it everyday...for a living...as a professional...
  10. LOL, yeah I suppose that would cause an issue... Whats that old saying? "Whenever man makes something idiot proof, along comes nature with a better idiot..."
  11. I reckon they need a higher and wider profile tyre J@, will look mint with a decent tyre on it rather than the rubber bands off fluffy's old WRX...lol
  12. Depending on brand there should be no specific tool Mick, the side bushes will keep the diff located
  13. Sales pitch huh? Nice...lol Keep the pics comin, keen to see it bobbed. Btw, went to victory in the weekend and fell in love with the high ball...
  14. Sidelined for...discussion...
  15. Probably not, but I don't think it will cost $165,000 either...
  16. Add 0.3L and you have the GT-R drivetrain...pretty good methinks...
  17. Hard to comment on without hearing/feeling the noise but sometimes if the front bushes on the diff (pinion mounting) are soft it can cause the diff to "nose up" and thud
  18. Agree with dags, not sure about the tank lift Henz, makes the bike look even shorter... Do you know how it's supposed to help the handling? I would've thought having the weight (not that it is much) higher would've made it a bit more unstable...? Lower ride height looks good though!
  19. Push down on the hub...or take it to a mechanic...
  20. terra88 - I'm glad you have had no issues with your install, please keep us informed as to the longevity. Nolathane's new part number may be a good option if they last. Mick - although not necessary, thanks for the compliment
  21. Definitely the early comfort series there - you can tell by the length of the voids
  22. Chris had a few converter issues when he raced with the 90/10s and the car was flaring to over 4000rpm and blazing the tyres so we couldn't gauge much of a difference. He has a lot of changes on the car and will basically require a new starting point so we will see in a round a month or so when he hits the track again.
  23. Approx 60mm from standard height - depending on load and model.
