  1. Clock on Dual-Zone ICC display was added on SY Territory Ghia - so that they could delete the cost of the roof-mount clock. I'm not sure if that filtered down to the Fairmont or not, because generally the Monty Ghia's were OK to have the clock stay on the dash. Not even ASL can reconfigure old DZ ICC's for clock operation, and they have the contract for aftermarket ICC support from Ford. (Sumitomo, who make the ICC, while they are very polite, won't deal with retail customers, and point you to ASL for anything.) Lukeyson
  2. Yes, it's possible, but only in diagnostic mode. This requires issuing a mode 2F diagnostic command by PID instead of a mode 22 query by PID. But be careful. Lights, horn and door locks are all BEM commands - same answer, requires mode 2F. For the ICC it's about pushing the buttons - ejecting CD's, changing the volume, displaying the test patterns etc. Lukeyson
