Wow didn't think the ron was that high, heard somethink somewhere that you need to set up car to run it, or am I getting confused with another green fuel. (This is the new green fuel that the V8 SC's are running now?). Is it compatable with our fuel systems and engine hardware. Excuse my lack of knowledge of the new & race fuels as always just used old super and premium unleaded fuels.

Will toluene destroy the CAT when used as 25% mix.

The angle from throttle location to first runners, just would like to know if would hurt flow to the front runners? The base plate looks pretty thin from that angle as well, have you had any warping problems. would the raised venturi's hurt flow or have you changed the design. that's great you have one 9 sec car with your plenum, are there any Plazmaman cars running 9's? just asking the questions here so don't get offended Any chance of a shot entering the plenum from throttle body flange.

No they are crap, just stay with the factory manifold. That way I shouldn't find to many T's to give me a run. My experience from fitting my plenum resulted in near 1 sec quicker et's and 18mph. It also turns tyre's 265x30x19 Toyo Proxy 4's on boost 1st and 2nd with 3rd being borderline with traction. BA 3.45 diff t56 box. Making 10psi before 2500rpm so if anything it has improved over the whole rpm range. 15psi by 3000rpm Private testing track, fried 1st & 2nd beside VE GTS from standing start, hit 3rd and disappeared (7+ car lengths) before selecting 4th and decelerating. Standard internals, x-force exhaust, Nizpro Valve springs, Siemen Deka injectors, Walbro pump, street rubber, self tuned. Fuel system hurt times as well as tyre's for traction.

And once you have fitted a Plazmaman Plenum you would never return it to standard again so drilling the lower manifold out to fit it is not any problem. Fitting the Plazmaman plenum on my near stock BA along with HDI Cooler resulted in dropping my ET from 13.9 @ 98mph to 12.9 @ 116mph with fuel surge problems in a manual. I choose the Plazmaman plenum over the PW as I preferred the angle of enterance as it doesn't by pass the first port as per the PW does and it has better enterance into each port where as the PW has raised venturi which would disrupt the flow into the runners, plus the plazmaman looks cleaner. that's my option and why I made my choice. I have seen many PW car make power though and also Nizpro Cobra. So it is a choice each will need to make on there own as they all make good power required for good street & Track performance.

just curious what size cable to run to boot mounted battery, as used to use a 2 gauge cable back with my old tuff 8's. Will a 4 gauge cable be sufficent. Also is there any issue with using a audio cable as already have a 4 gauge cable powering my amp. Will also need either a Redline or plazmaman billet bracket to suit oddessay 925 battery. If audio power cable is not usable where have you found to get a good quality cable from at a decent price. I'm also thinking of running either a trip or fuse block immediatly after battery just incase of any shorts ever happening. Will I have any problem with the trip activating when cranking engine over. Is running the power to the fuse panel right to run down to the starter and the power from starter to the boot, rather than running the power cable all the way to the fuse panel. I have run the 4g audio cable throught the grommet on the passenger side along with gauge cables & lines.

Not to mention the VCT helping to broaden the power range. It will be good, hope they get it happening earlier & hope they dont hold back on the power and increase it over future models a bit at a time. Who knows maybe the GTHO will get the 5.0l twin Turbo Bobcat engine that makes 373kw and 1000nm.

ben I ment quality not with a mobile phone and with the car not being cleaned. But anyway that huge 6" intake distracts you from the car not being clean. It already does make more power than the BA/BF XR in standard. The G6ET out performs the F6 on the track in standard form as well. But what I think you where saying is what potenial the turbos have. It may not flow enough air but the BA BF cant control boost in standard form either. If the XR/G6ET Turbo is a mismatch, it doesn't do to bad on the track with low 13's apposed to BA/BF Low 14's.

Rapid Teil do a stainless housing I think for a GT45, look quite hot (LOL). Think they are around $600 to $800 from think it was VPW. The finish is as good as the Teil Wastegates.

Are the blades numbered to keep count on them for next time you inspect it. LOL must be there method for easy location of position for balancing. Dont gamble your engine on valve springs, if people are saying they have had problems at 320 rwkw well best change them. One stray value will destroy your engine. Fit valve springs set you back under $1000 you dont want to add a engine to the cost.

Suppose since I suggested it I will have to show my not to shabby lady who is 40 and mother of 4. please dont be to harsh. As stated in the other valve spring post, valve springs should always be installed at specified height to obtain correct seat pressure. I have Nizpro springs in mine installed by previous owners mechanic, must be alright as I have done over 30 000k's on them myself and they have seen 20psi @ 6500 with no problems. For my new engine whenever it happens I am going for Comp Cams conical springs have part number & specs somewhere from back months ago when I was pricing all bits up. I cant rember the specs but recall the price to have been around $580 wholesale. The seat and open pressures where very good and think the retainers where included. Sorry I cant tell much of them at present but sure if you did some searching you will find them. They may have been a v8 set to being USA made.

Dont worry about it overboosting as I have run mine for well over 12 months with it over boosting up to 20 psi on cold night and mornings, and mine is a BA series one which has weaker rods. Your ecu will correct the afr to a certain point or limit it if it is required with its adaptive learning. Buy yourself a wideband o2 gauge to keep a eye on the afr's just to be safe or have it dyno'd. keep in mind if it is all factory standard including tune it has been tuned for worst case senario and run slightly rich mixtures from factory. So what boost is it pushing and when you drove it what was the climate like.

So have I missed this or not. Would like to come and watch as well. is it cort or tv who is organising the shoot or someone else? If I have missed it would it be possible some time in the near future to be able to get some pictures of my car and wife done once I get my car back on the road. And no she is not a 10/10 glammor, just would like some top quality pictures done of my car and lady not me as dont want to ruin the picture.

ben chop off 2 sections of the bump stops this had helped mine but didn't cure it. With yours being standard height but softer spring than mine it may be coming down and bouncing off the bump stops as mine was.

Feel sorry for you, had same senario a few years back, gave a deposit for 2 sets of Elderbrock Alloy heads, one for my everyday 351w Cortina the Other for my XY Gt Rep. Anyway get to the point, and friend of mine recommended him, should of stayed clear concidering my friends engines kept breaking. I gave him $3000 and didn't see the heads, he kept saying all sorts of excuses saying they had been sent to wrong address, that they where held up in customs eta eta. I ended up enquiring to a local speed shop to see if they had any in stock when they said to me this con had only been in there today asking if they could get same heads I was chasing. I ended up fronting him and he gave my cash back, maybe bit worried because of my agressive nature for him to hand it over. I though it was going to go down badly and was shocked that he did hand it back. My daughter also had a work colleque/best friend sell her a car with her making payments over time period and car to be handed over at set date. I warned her from the beginning that this guy was going to rip her off and made her get sign agreement from him. She was only working part time and we had allowed her not to pay us board as she was doing something with her earnings and not blowing it on crap. What guy sells a car but continues to spend money on it, god my daughter has learnt on this one. She had paid him $5000 with $1500 owed. I even took the balance to him and damanded he hand over the car. He refused to take the balance saying he didn't want to sell it now. I then had a friend pick it up with his tilt tray and took it home. They followed us back to home and had the police turn up. We told them what this scum had done and showed the police the receipts and the cash balance we tried offering him. We ended up having to return it to him and where told they could have prosecuted us for stealing it they could see the situation and wouldn't prosecute, they recommended us to get legal with it. Strange how you can get ripped off by someone like this, The scum should have been charged with fraud not to mention my daugther being a 15 yo when he took advantage of her. Still dont have any idea on what you are on about. Is it not aligned properly or rubbing on something, you need to explain better. If the belt just keeps wearing out and snapping it will be due to alignment or a pully bearing problem as in the belt tensioner or it could be a tight water pump. My belt has been on my 2003 BA XR6T for like 126 000 k's, looking a bit worn out but havn't any issues and I am making well over 350rwkw. If your pulley is faulty PM me as I have a Powerbond 20% underdrive balancer brand new in box that was going to be used for my new engine but I have decided to go with a differnt balancer due to the level of power I will be chasing. Will take $220 for Pulley if you are interested. You will need to purchase a shorter belt which I can also provide the part number for. these 20% underdriven balancers free up power as well.

Great link there Pube. My suggestion would be to run a canister as per the very last picture but fit a gauges filter internally to the exit side of approx 20microns so it allows fume only and keeps as much oil away from the exit. Other than that a baffle just below it .
