Hoe come you dont have a blow off valve? Is your car a T?

Hi I bought a brand new set of seat covers off ebay however it doesnt have any of the plastic fasteners. Slight piss off as they were not advertised that way. I have asked the local trimmers here and they cant or dont know where to get it. If anyone as retrimmed and have some lying around or know where to get the stuff let me know. Thanks

Do you recommend them? So they are not bluetooth by the looks. How does the MP3 work? Through FM? Does it convey (talk) through your stereo. Just comparing to TomToms. TomTs have a lot of gimmicks however are three times the price. Just saw on youtube they are used with a pen. Can it be finger touch as well? Thanks

I saw a second hand one that apparently was a group buy. All I am after is the model and I can track it down myself. Also wanted to know how well it worked. Does it do MP3, bluetooth etc. Think you only paid $200 odd from memory. Thanks

I have been considering a Sat Nav TomTom and remember there was a group buy on some form of unit on here. It was pretty cheap. After a search I cant find where it was. Can anyone remember it and what it was/is like. Thanks

I was told by an upholsterer that if you turn your ignition on with the seats disconnected your airbag light will stay on. Regardless if its airbag or not I assume as he said it about mine being non airbag. He said ford will need to re-set it. I dont know how true this is.

So on the back of the cobalts what goes to which side. They have a 12v side and a earth or dimmer side. Should I connect the power from the TC or cig lighting to the 12V side 'top left' and earth the top right. Or just connect in both sides to the teo wires from the TC or Cig lighting?? Thanks

Great work this. I am going to follow this guide. Could you please let me know which wires go to what on the back of the guages. I have some second hand with no wiring diagram. Even if you can describe as if looking at it. Mine is already wired with all black wires and fitted in the pod so cant read the plugs too well. For me I have boost and oil pressure looking at them the top left on both gauges are joined and the top right are joined. What in your diagram do the left and rights go to. Lighting I assume. The boost is mechanical so it ends there. The oil pressure has a middle lug with wire attached. I assume it goes to the oil pressure sender. The bottom two GND 'S' on the left and 'I' for the right have no wires. I assume they are not used. Thanks Greg

My standard XR6T 03 4 spd felt like a big rubber band. I knew this however and didnt expect much. Get a tune done and you will be more impressed. I opted for springs, injectors etc and went straight to 290 rwkw. However the biggest thing for me was having the 4 spd pressures raised and harder shifts. Transforms the car in my opinion.

Hi all. Have fitted some 19 inch BA Typhoon copies. I know not very original but I love the look.

I am also interested in the outcome from this. I have put QFM pads and RDA discs on and somehow in the process I now have a more spongy feeling brake pedal. I was going to update to better fluid and bleed to fix it. But maybe not. The difference in the brake setup is there seems to be a fine ajustment in the Ford calipers as against my old Nissan ones.

Looks like because the cushoning in the side of the seat has collapsed that is the issue. Ford has quoted me $190 for a new cushion so now to see if anyone on here can maybe do better for me.

Has anyone had an issue with their leather seats causing pressure points on your legs. The part that rises on the edges seems really hard. Not sure if the leather has gone hard or the cushoning underneath has hardened. Thanks

Just spent 10 min writing a speal on how but it didnt appear. Basically a half dozen e-mails to council explaining how my pressure cleaner uses far less water than throwing it at the car and if I used it from a bucket I would still be in regulations. They didnt understand so I e-mailed the local minister resulting in a letter saying it was OK. I then discovered that my GMC cleaner wont suck from a bucket. Its only a small cheap thing given to me. I was thinking one of those old time fireman backpacks would be good.

Hi all. I have a council letter saying I can wash my car with a pressure cleaner from a bucket. I know you can get cleaners that can do this but I am wondering what ingenious devices people have come up with? I was thinking a backpack arrangement either electric or petrol driven maybe.
