  1. that's exactly what happened to mine. Put a new clutch in it an it destroyed it and that was only with 280rwkw.

  4. just a quick question are the xr6t blocks and the n/a blocks the same?? I know the internals are different in them but im just wondering about the blocks. What I was thinking about doing was buying a 2nd hand n/a blcok and building it with all the good stuff inside it and then just use the head that I have on my motor and all the other bits and pieces. Would that be possible??

  7. that's what I would like to know. They don''t have the gearboox yet, well that's what they said 2 weeks ago. Its just pissing me off.
  8. Looks like I'm a maybe at this point. My tuner has had the car for 2 and a half months and I dont think that I will have it back before the weekend. I have the sh*ts about it but not alot I can do at the moment.

    Im not sure of anyone that has changed the rear housing (sure there is) but a few people have replaced the front housing witha 0.7a/r front housing. This seems to do the trick for about 430-440rwkw.

  11. Mine will hopefully only have as much power as yours. My injectors will hold me back from anymore which is good cause that way it will save my motor. Just got save now to get a motor to go with the rest of the car.
  12. C4 conversion is taking all the time. They are still waiting on the gearbox to come in from their builder. I have been told the cams and valve springs have been fitted so just the gbox and tune to go. Spoke to Con today and he said it should be ready within the next two weeks. So looks like I should just have it back for the cruise.

  14. Can anybody point me in the right direction. I want an XR8 bonnet with the vent/slit in the front. I have searched the net and can't find anywhere that maks them. Can tell me where to get one. Cheers Rhys

  19. I decided I wanted an auto and I went with a C4. The priice is a fair bit more than the option you went for and without going into the exact price it would be closer to your first option as mentioned above. Not cheap but I suppose its my money

  21. Well my T5 finally sh*t itself after a few months of torture. Thank god it was only a couple of kays from home. I ended up not having any gears left, just made horrible noises and locked up. Luckly I had the car booked at CV for the c4 conversion but it has to happen a bit earlier now. Just now I will have to tow it up. It was a sorry sight seeing th epoor car on the back of a tow truck but sh*t happens.
  22. You wont require a retune. If your handy with some tools its not that hard to install at all. Should only take a couple of hours max.
  23. What is the standard fuel pressure in a T? Any help would be great. Cheers Rhys
  24. Wont be able to make it to this one. Car is going into CV next week for the c4 conversion and cams and some other stuff. So will have to wait until the next one.
