  1. I dare say you answered your own question that it is more than likely tyre noise. How new are his tyres?? They could just be out of round slightly. If you run your hand over them and they feel 'lumpy' then they are out of round so to speak. What kind of noise does it make??
  2. What would be the best spring and shock combination to run in the rear to get the best hook up for the 1/4?? I have a set of 90/10s for the front waiting to go in just want opinions to what would be the best for the rear. Cheers Rhys
  3. How hard are these to rebuild at home?? I was thinking that I would buy the cage and the star and was going to try and attempt it at home. Has anybody done this and if so how hard and could you post up a write up if possible??
  4. I have got a screamer and I love the sound. Check out ETM under the sponsors section. He does an external gate with a screamer upgrade for the standard turbo.
  5. Yeah that's fir the pair. It's $400 mark plus re valving $240 and thtas for the rear if you wanted to get 10/90's or 30/70's for the rear. I think im going to get 70/30's for the front to make it slightly more street friendly.
  6. Ok I finally found someone that will do 90/10s or 70/30's for a fair price. Heasmans in Sydney said they will resleeve a set of front shocks for $568 for the shock and $240 to resleeve them. This is the cheapest that I could find and less than half the price pedders quoted me. 03XR6T an Leigh do you think that is a decent pice??
  7. I got my rims from their and I also got them to put the front springs in, rear ones are pretty simple so I did them myself just had to go get an alignment once I fitted them. Can't remember exactly where they are but they have a web page if you google them that will tell you the address. The price was fairly cheap and I have had know dramas with the rims or suspension. Pedders charge way to much for my liking but it's up to you who you use for that.

  11. Sure is. With just the flash box and a custom tune by a tuner you should see between 240-250kw from my experience so its worth the money.

    Good result mate. Iwould say about 380rwkw would be safe and that's plenty of power for the street. Your injectors are going to limit you to about 350kw though.

  14. You shouldn't have to cut any of the heat shield it comes off when you wriggle it around and undo a couple of bolts. I took mine off without removing the the manifold got to the tricky bolt from underneath from memory but I don't see why you can't take the whole manifold off. Im sure if im wrong somebody will be around to correct me.
  15. Have an external gate so that won't be needed.
  16. So I take it it is just the bolts on the back of the comp cover?? Then it should come off with the backing plate and just replace with the new ones??
  17. The comp cover on the turbo. Just wanted to change it over to a 0.7a/r but wanted to see if it was hard to do

  21. I contacted pedders and they said that they could get a set made but it would be about $1500 so I told them where they could go for that money. I made contact with a couple of other places just waiting on some replies. Will let you know when I here back rom them.
