  1. what power does it have at the rears? Also what size stally?
  2. Mine holds onto power up hig longer than it use to. Instead of dropping away at 6000rpm the cuve goes flat and doesn' dro away. The car runs out o revs. They would be alot eter with a built motor that is able to rev harder.
  3. Great time. Ho do you findthe slicks? Have they destroyed any CV's?? Have you got upgraded them?? Also what size rim and slick do you run on the rear??
  4. If you have video I would love to see it.
  5. Anyone take any video of the run that you know of??
  6. Great time and so very close. Have you upgraded you CV's or arethey standard?? Also have you smashed any CV's while racing??
  7. Crow cam or Atomic cams seem to the bes two to go with. Crow cam ae about $600 from mory andthats for their stage 2 package. I think mine were $400 for install but can't remember. Your fuel consumption will go to sh*t thouh the bigger that you go. Since you want more down low grunt Crow Cams stage 2 would prob be the best. Rhys
  8. When I first read the post I only read the times ad looked at the mph and I thought that would have to run a 10 with those sorts of speeds. After reading it again ad realising that it's a manual those times are great. Are you running the standard driveshafts or have you upgraded??
  9. You could have at least given me that 0.03 of a second lol.
  10. This is basically a test run for the car just to see how it goes. Once I have finished fitting the fuel cell and take it back to CV to get them to tune it with jungle juice then it will be stripped and some slicks fitted. This outing though I will just be running some mt et streets.
  11. Anything under an 11.5 I will be happy with.
  12. Finally I am ready to take the car out to WSID to see what time it will run. At this stage I am just going to run it on pump gas to see what it can do. After I finish fitting the fuel cell and other bits and pieces I will put some race fuel in it and see how it goes. What do you guys think that I will run?? Mods are as listed in my sig. I won't be running it off the transbrake this time just off the foot brake. Anybody going to come out and watch??
  13. ure is. It's just a safety against fuel surge. They don't affect the tune at all.
  14. It sure is. Standard cats choke up the exhaust even on a standard system.
  15. I am goign to put a small fuel cell in the boot of the car so that I can run race fuel and I don't really want to have to empty the tank everytime that I decide to go racing. What I am looking for is if fittings similar to the ones on top of the original fuel pump (the barb type fitting) that will push into the standard fuel line clips. I have tried searching around but can't find anything. If anybody has any idea where to get some that would be great. What I was going to do is fit efi hose to the other end with a hose clamp and use the fittings if I can get them and just attach them to the standard fuel line clips. In the picture below I have drawn a box around the fitting that I need. Any help would be great. Cheers
  16. Unlucky mate. Hope it's back together soon. Have you got any pictures of the beast??
  17. sounds like its a angry car
  18. Got any sound clips of the idle??
  19. Seen a F6 in Dapto with a cage in it. I have heard about it but never seen it until now.
  20. To do it on that kind of boost I would be going a full exhaust, injectors, a walbro intake pump for safety and either a Rapid V3 kit or the Process West Stage 3 kit. You may possibly have to upgrade the actuator and get the flapper mod. Valve springs are a must as welll because it is a BA and they won't handle 300. Obviously if you just do the cat, injectors and valve springs and a cooler but it would take more boost than that to get to the mark that you would like. As for what cat to use I would go with either a Hurricane or a 5 inch Ballastic cat.
  21. So true. Not about how much power you have it's how you get it to the ground.
  22. If your just after a tough streeter then I would go with the Process WEst intercooler and piping kit, also the Process West intake kit, set of injectors and a tune. That will get you a tough streeter in my opinion. If you have some spare cash then maybe look at an exhaust. Process West stuff may not be the cheapest but it has been proven on the track and street.
  23. Auto semm to be better in these cars for launching off the line, as most of the fastest xr6t's are auto's. It doesn't suprise me that he got you off a standing start. I had a run with my mate and I had 50rwkw more. He has an auto and still had a manual at that point. Off a standing start he got me but rolling I was all over him. It seems that any auto will beat a manual with simialar power down in the T's.
  24. Senna is right. You need to figure out what you want out of your car whether its for darg, drift, circuit or just a tough street car. If you don't have any idea it can start costing double as much money because you will be buying parts twice. Shop around though for sponsors have plenty of good deals, and if you are handy in the garage then you save heaps on labour.
  25. Certainly smashed it. Gives you an excuse to build a bullet proof one anyway.
