The ute's only done 200km so I haven't tried it to see if the traction control is really there or not. If the button is pressed, nothing lights up on the dash. I'll also try to have a look under the dash to see if it has connecting wires or if it's a dummy switch. I'll try it & let you know. It's just hard to get the smile off your face after you drive it :D

I have just pick-up my XR6 Turbo Ute. All of Fords specifications and options have stated that on the ute traction control is not available, and that LSD is standard instead of the traction control. To my surprise, my ute DOES have Traction Control, with the off button on the dash. Although it still has no mention of it in the owners manual. The car is a May 03 build. Do any other Turbo Ute owners have the Traction Control ?

Just got my XR6 Turbo Ute. As expected it does not have the light sockets. It has the Prestige 6 disc sound system, but no sockets, so the ute owners must be out of luck!

The grill looks OK, the other one I have seen that I like is the Hillier's Raptor Ute, which is silver, and it really sets it apart! Also on the intercooler grill, a dealer is brisbane has a XR6 Turbo sedan, which has a factory grill in front of the intercooler, it looked pretty good, and I hadn't seen one on a car before. The grill was the lattice type with no inscriptions on it. Are these available?
