  8. Jacko and Farrah Fawcett have passed away.....and that's sad. But, to me, the saddest news I heard today was the story of how an innocent bloke was murdered while he was just trying to make a living........this sort of stuff just makes me bloody mad http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/mp/5681548/st...nocent-truckie/
  9. Can anyone give me a minimum thickness for the premium (PBR C6 calipers) 325mm brake rotors thanks.
  10. Easy as......any of the above should be able to make up a new one while you wait. But take the caliper with you make sure it fits like the original
  11. Hahaha....if I'd known which bend you were on.....I'd have gone through quicker
  12. Great cause....and a great outcome from tragic circumstances..... But now you've got me thinking what sort of deal would they do on a "group buy" ?? :gunsfiring:
  13. Have you got a link?...... Missus asked the same on the way home.....but it was a good time anyway.... Judging by some of the comments above.....I'd say it did Great cruising roads out that way....
  14. Yeah...we went past it on the way back....looked like he'd come off and broken his leg.... Maybe he should give it up and buy a T instead....at least you can't fall off a Falcon eh' Downloaded my incar cam and it turned out crap......still trying to figure out if it's the camera, the operator or a combination of both.. An eventful day I reckon.....great run and we had a good time.....thanks all who turned up and Paul for setting it up
  15. Me too....but Ive been having problems with the audio.....see how it goes I guess
  16. From Kirrawee I take King Georges, Concord, Lane Cove rd's then join Pacific hwy at Gordon......... Gonna nick off just before 8 or so..... You'd be better off just getting on the M7......its an easier cruise, but from the Shire.....its just too far out of the way.
  17. If its any help.....see signature.... Im only running a stock pump and springs as well.
  18. How many from Sydney are going up? Just wondering if some would like to meet up and drive up together?
  19. Andrew.....anytime you feel the need to come on over and take on some of my workload to free up my time to setup this stuff..... you're more than welcome ok..... nasho has been undergoing roadworks lately, only went through there last week.....but once its finished, It'll be worth the wait....trust me As for Aaron's suggestion......definately has merit....we will continue to set it up once he comes back from WallyWorld ok.....

Whincup, this is his first visit to Willowbank and during an on track interview he was saying he was absolutely blown away by drag racing, Lowndes who has been here before is totally enjoying his Winternationals Experience. They certainly sound like V8 Supercars, they are on the limiters, as they leave the line, they stall it Whincup recovers first, Lowndes wouldn’t even qualify for the street bracket, but Whincup would just make it. 06/06/2009 2:05 pm 21Deg,47%H,1011mB,1046RA,(TT)38Deg 1 Right Lane JAMIE WHINCUP V SUPERCAR , 888 Left Lane CRAIG LOWNDES V8 SUPERCAR , #Tst RcNo 162_______Time Trials, Test and Tune ® Right Win M:2.469 NUM CLASS HCAP REACT 60 330 660 MPH 1000 ET MPH 1 EX 0.00 0.567 2.089 4.906 7.199 107.40 9.170 10.840 134.53 2 888 EX 0.00 0.646 3.775 7.114 9.488 104.55 11.505 13.230 126.69 2 Whincup and Lowndes again, now look Whincup has decided for the big tyre smoking burnout, Lowndes just a short water burnout, Whincup is out, he is running a fantastic pass, but Lowndes stalls it off the start line and yet again wouldn’t make it into super street. Whincup would now be in Super Sedan. 06/06/2009 5:13 pm 18Deg,63%H,1011mB,806RA,(TT)26Deg 888 Right Lane CRAIG LOWNDES V8 SUPERCAR , 1 Left Lane JAMIE WHINCUP V SUPERCAR , #Tst RcNo 231_______Time Trials, Test and Tune (L) Left Win M:0.211 NUM CLASS HCAP REACT 60 330 660 MPH 1000 ET MPH 888 EX 0.00 0.673 2.040 4.901 7.184 104.21 9.145 10.817 134.97 3 1 EX 0.00 0.413 2.037 4.886 7.196 107.04 9.186 10.866 134.05 3 We have strong burnouts in both lanes from these V 8 Supercar competitors, Lowndes has opted for the opposite lane this time, and Whincup he wholeshots Lowndes both of these cars would now qualify for Super Sedan.

    Why An Xr6t?

We bought our T while we were looking for another car to replace our written off BA Mk2 XR8 ...... My wife was so happy with that car that she wanted another exactly the same, with the same options, colour etc.... After years of owning optioned up Fairmonts V8's, Mustangs, GT's and stuff......even a Bronco..... we were really V8 fans ( especially my wife) and never really considered much else......and after looking high and low we could only find one car optioned up with the same stuff as the XR8......in an acceptable colour as well. The only difference was that it was an XR6 Turbo......I figure...what the hell, lets try something different.....I've never owned a turbo car before..... :banghead2: After much coersion, she agrees to look at it, outside gets thumbs up, inside is the same and she checks the options.......then she lifts the bonnet, turns to me and says....."I think Im gonna' be sick".....what the hell do you want one of these things for? :banghead: In the end, she says, "Ok, we'll give it 12 months......and if I don't like it, we'll get rid of it and buy another XR8 or a GT right?" "And it feels doggy down low so if you can do something about that and the crappy exhaust note then I'll give it a go for a year".....(Iv'e since modded the exhaust and had it edited so she's all happy now) That was 3 years ago, so I figure it's grown on her....... If I had my time over would I buy it again? Probably......but in hindsight, I wish I'd waited a little longer and bought a Typhoon instead..... It took me a lot longer than I expected to adjust my driving style to get the most out of it. After years of driving V8's......they are two different animals.
