The wear indicators on my current Marangoni Mythos have started to hit the top of the tread so its new tyre time...... While Ive got no complaints with the Marangonis, they've been great and after getting 30,000+ ks out of them, I'd use them again for sure.... I've been offered Yokohama "Advan's" which I've never heard of for $250 ea. fitted and balanced....for a Yokohama tyre, they sound almost "too cheap" if you know what I mean... Has anybody else used these? what are your thoughts?....

Even if you can make it up to the meeting point mate....It'd be good to see ya'.... Done....look forward to seeing you Pete....are you bringing Leah or the young bloke? Just tell Vic you want it for the weekend and to pull his finger out mate.... -
After the success of Thursday's night deal...I'm sure there'll be more... no risk. I had already made contact with some of the guys on the LS1 forums regarding a joint run but things hadn't progressed past the talk stage....then Ryan came up with this, so we've got him to thank for it eh' No NOS on this one mate....just 4.0ltrs of Ford turbo six power I'm really only a 54yr old Grandad who loves to have a bit of a run with a few mates sometimes....we do have a few other members who couldn't make it on the night that'd have me for brekky if you know what I mean....you guys ain't seen nothin' yet....

Even though it was cold as....I put my window down so I could listen to Garret's VZ up the Pass.....It sounded great, but not as nice as Aaron's Cobra on full song up the mountain....music...sweet music....
-
All in all...a good night....for Expensive Daewoo owners, what a great bunch of guys.. . I can see more joint runs/cruises taking place between us no risk

Anytime Phil...good to see you back in the country.... -
From what I saw today....Expensive Daewoo didn't win it.....a lot of the Ford teams gave it to them on a plate with bad preparation, mechanical failures and driver mistakes.... One Ford in the top ten and only four in the top twenty has to tell you something.... I suppose you gotta' give em' one after three straight floggings I guess.....
-
yeah right....after today's 1-2-3-4 flogging....we're probably gonna' get a bagging eh'

Its outside the Woollongong metro area so you'd probably get lost anyway... Tell the truth Ras.....you've got ballet lessons right -
During the last 18 months or so….I’ve noticed more members from Western Sydney making the trek down south to join our night cruises…..so here’s one for all the Westies And, of course, whoever else wants to come for a run too…… Meet in the carpark of Beaurepaires Tyre Service Corner of Pages Road and the Great Western Highway St.Marys. at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm leave. Turning left from the carpark, we travel 5kms before turning right into Parker Street. Taking note of the 60kph speed camera just over the railway bridge. At 2.5kms, we turn left into Andrews Road and travel for another 2kms before turning right at the roundabout into Castlereagh Road. At 14.5kms we turn left into Springwood Road and climb 20kms up the mountain pass through Winmalee and on to Valley Heights. At Valley Heights, we turn left onto the Great Western Highway (observing the 80kmh speed camera at Warrimoo) and follow 16kms down the mountain to the Mulgoa Road exit. turning right into Mulgoa Road. At 12.5kms Mulgoa Road runs into Greendale Road then at 16kms Greendale Rd. changes to Bringelly Road. At 9.5kms turn left into Cowpasture Road and follow for 3.5kms to the Caltex, KFC, Pizza Hut complex on the left at Hoxton Park and finish. Total distance is just over 100kms with approx. 1-1/2- 2 hours drive time depending on traffic and conditions. The finish point is right next to the M7 interchange so getting home shouldn’t be drama for most. In order to limit the size of this post, I have included the cruise rules as an attachment. In the interests of safety, and to ensure that all participants are "on the same page", please make sure that you read them……and likewise for people you bring or invite as well. Especially the bit about CB radios……… In leiu of handouts, please print off a copy of both the rules and this post to bring with you on the night. So who's in? Posted on behalf of Ryan..... Talking to a few mates from Wollongong that run a Late model camira Club ( South Coast Commodores) they are wanting to have a get together/cruise and meet some local lads and ladies and get a club/site up and running.. Basically a meet and greet between two like minded groups of individuals.. Thursday 15th October Night Run.. Meet: Heathcote Caltex Southbound Time: 7.30pm meet for a 8.00pm leave to meet up with the Expensive Daewoo lads around 8.30pm at Bald Hill ( Stanwell Tops) - Coast Road down to Northgate Maccas, - Short stop for a feed/talk/chat/talk crap/take photos etc etc, - Cruise Through Town and down to Shellharbour, across and up to Mac Pass for a run up/down the pass then members can cruise back up the Hume or the F6 which ever they choose. I'll be there, and obviously Ryan as well as the sole blue flag bearers.. depending on the outcome of Sundays race ...anybody else interested?

I could really do with an apprentice Andrew OK! OK!....I've been busy alright...... We have Ryan's suggestion, and I'm waiting for a PM from the Mods before posting it in the cruise section for all to see..... As for me....last weekend I finished the reccy for the Western Sydney night deal I've been working on and as soon as I come up with a suitable date, I'll be posting it up

With your power level, I'd say it's a smart move. Try Motorsport Connections at Seven Hills, they stock a good range and can also supply the lines and fittings that you'll need to fit it. As an aside, unless you want bling, you don't really need braided lines for this sort of deal.they have hi-temp hose that'll easily handle this installation and it's a fraction of the cost of the fancy stuff...ask them about "pushlock" fittings..you'll save a bomb. You can mount it in back of your lower grille(in front of your cooler) Or, as an alternative, there's plenty of room behind the R/H spotlight in behind the inner guard....but you may have to make up some form of air scoop near the undertray to direct more air up there. As for cost...there's plenty of cheap and nasty coolers on the market but look at the cost of your trans...get a good one...it pays in the long run.... I can't see it going more than $200-$300 bucks all up.... Hope this helps mate.....
-
Mmmm....how about an F6X in black? that'd look pretty cool parked beside the R spec eh'..... Makes it a hard decision to decide which one to take to work though Jeees I'm good at spending your money...... Hope all is going well for you mate
-
What about a Territory?....you can get good deals on early Ghias now....
-
Now there's a sick mind right there...... I dont get it sometimes....I know everyone has the right to expressing their own individual "taste" right?...... But if your taste is in your backside.....why would you want to everybody to know that? a rexxy scoop on an XR..... :headbang2:
