  1. Ok...I'll suck in..... Worse Mod campaign.....Steve.....you Judas... Best Mod campaign....was Nick until sabotaged by Steve. Years craziest member.....Nick or you....its close eh' Years most polite member.....err, probably me. Years fastest post to be closed....any post involving Nick, Tab, and anything to do with goats. Years most insightful and greatest bullsh*ter (sorry I mean philosophical) member.....undecided...so many candidates... Years stupidest stunt/post.....Nick's "help" thread. Years best vocals award - (for singing on the bus, sorry cruise)....has to be Nick....see western Sydney thread.... Theres my pick anyway....
  2. And that my friends....is pure GOLD Back on topic though....how about something like this??..... Sydney Cruises, Sailing & Water Tours | Viator.com
  3. Hey, leave me out of this moderator stuff will ya' As much as I'd like to do it....I wouldn't want to derail Nick's campaign. As for a get-together....hell yeah, I'm in It's just a matter of where to go or what to do? A lot depends on numbers....some things are practical with less and others better with more you know..... Karting...sounds good Comedy night....sounds good too....especially if we can get our resident comedy duo of the rootster and smicky up on stage.....that, I'd gladly pay to see A gathering at a nice pub with a beer garden and some pool tables or something perhaps? I'm open to suggestions as well......
  4. Yes, I do know about it....as an ANDRA Steward, I got the details of last nights tragedy early this morning... Two bad incidents that happened within minutes of one another..... A competitor in Super Sedan hit the wall hard and had to be cut from his car after complaining about neck pain (we dont take chances with something like this)... so rather than try and manouvre him out of the car they cut through the cage and bring him out in a more "back friendly" position..... Not long after, a competitor on a Harley appeared to misjudge the exit out front and high-sided his bike....unfortunately, he suffered fatal injuries.
  5. Hope you guys had a good time last night...... But the list below has the makings of a fun night out.....or, as Smicky has suggested, how about a night at Eastern Creek karts..... So when are we gonna' do it?? Ms700 has just been added as well so far Smicky Mercury turbo REG Buf MS700 Rootster PAT
  6. Maybe something could sway my vote.....$$$ or some sort of other favours??? Steve and Mick were saying you were pretty good .....something about a golf ball through a garden hose??
  7. WOMAN'S POEM Before I lay me down to sleep, I pray for a man, who's not a creep, One who's handsome, smart and strong. One who loves to listen long, One who thinks before he speaks, One who'll call, not wait for weeks. I pray he's gainfully employed, When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed. Pulls out my chair and opens my door, Massages my back and begs to do more. Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind, Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?" I pray that this man will love me to no end, And always be my very best friend. MAN'S POEM I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge hooters who owns a liquor store and a golf course. This doesn't rhyme and I don't give a sh*t.
  8. Spew....the boss has already made plans for that night.... A bit more notice would have been good....
  9. You were indeed lucky Adam.....and we're all pleased to hear that no-one got hurt.... But....there's something not quite right here.... You say you were on a cruise, with the local car club, in the middle of the day no less.... and the driver managed to overcook it enough to throw a VZ SS off into the scrub hard enough to write it off!! that's crazy man  .....I'd love to know the circumstances around this....
  10. We kicked off with 22 starters…..an excellent rollup and it gives me inspiration to organise more out that way…… All bar a couple made it to the finish ( a VL Commy broke something in the driveline on the climb up Springwood Rd and Pat stayed with him to organise a tow)….[insert wisecrack about GMH here]. Sorry about the RTA holdup on Bringelly Rd but they weren’t there when I did the reccy… Thanks to Peter for looking out at the tail of the field after Phil’s radio went west…. A big thanks to Nick and Michael for providing the entertainment on the night…..the impromptu performance on the servo forecourt only got better at Harry’s L/pool….and Krispy Cremes we won’t talk about ok….you guys are a crackup. It turned out a great night, got to catch up with many of the regulars and a few newbies (no doubt they’ll be back) Thanks to all who supported the night..….hope you all had a good time
  11. Pedal feel is better, especially if you do the rears later..... And don't spare the coin on the fluid....get the good stuff.... Tops mate.....you can bed em' in tomorrow night
  12. Any CB for under $60 is gonna' be the proverbial "two bob watch".... $60 bucks isn't the end of the world... As you've noticed by some of the above posts....we've got our own fair share of characters right here as well....no doubt you'll meet some and see what I mean on the night But this is a "cruise" thread....so could could we keep it on topic please guys....
  13. So your now the official owner of that big, black mobile rock concert eh'... Good stuff....let the mods begin Actually, I was going to ask if you'd mind giving me a hand to keep this mob under control on the night if that's ok.....
  14. You could also hit em' with....... Ever since the hitting that pothole...... Ive had this really annoying noise in my left front brake caliper as well
  15. I put this on another forum and came up with this link...that explains all.. Tyre Markings After reading it...I reckon I'll go with them...for the money, I can't complain...sure, there two years old, but there still in the wrapping and according to the link you can use them up to 5 years later with safety provided they have been stored properly. Thanks for all the feedback guys
  16. ok, so they tell me that the 93W bit is the load rating...(the current tyres are 97Y)....whats the difference? Is there a chart somewhere so I can decipher this stuff??
  17. Ok, heres the guff.... On the sidewall.....ADVAN A13A 245/40R18 93W then.....F1250L...then.....FDJX.....date of manufacture 05/07 Can any-one tell me which No. tells you the load rating? They recommend these ones for Jap imports as well but Im concerned that if we fit them to a Falcon size car....they'll get ripped to bits you know..... Thanks guys...
  18. Hell yeah Like the others have said.....get onto the council and give em' both barrels... :biggun: 2 tyres, a wheel rim, alignment and whatever else..... that's gotta be a grand plus worth of damage there
  19. no mate...no "private" roads....but there are a few windy, isolated sections and when you get a bunch of car nuts, out in the sticks, at nightime...well I'll let your imagination take over from there ok... Yeah...didn't think of that...I could do with somebody to ride shotgun too.. Done.... Excuses excuses....I'll believe ya'...but hundreds wouldn't Done....
  20. Good question....I checked the Yokohama site and there is a couple of different types.... Will go back on Mon., get the details on the tyre and come back with it ok....
  21. Yeah, that's what I thought as well....but Ive eyeballed the tyres and the dealer (a customer of mine) has said he'll do em' for 250 ea....
