In addition to what BFHOON has said, my clutch is lighter than my friends stock F6 clutch....Ive only got 275 rwkw but Ive given it plenty for 40,000 now and had no problems whatsoever.....

And when inconsiderate pricks show disrespect for somebody elses property.... Its amazing how things can get out of hand though.... Back in about 82',a mate,myself and our girls came back to our cars after a movie in the city. We walk up and theres this dude sitting on the front guard of my mate's then 3 month old black Corvette,clowning around with a couple of his friends Its George Street Sydney.....Saturday night, theres people everywhere and Peter walks up to this guy and tells him to "get off the friggen' car" The guy gets smart and starts to give him attitude...so Pete belts him in the head and he goes down for the count..... :o Now that would have been ok if it had ended there, but his mates got involved,so I got involved,then their girls started into our girls so they didn't have any choice but getting into it as well So then theres about 7 or so people brawling on the footpath and people were just walking by like it was a regular thing......couple of em' actually started cheering for the girls.....can you believe it!!! A crowd starts to gather, then cops came from everywhere.... So we all get rounded up by the cops and taken down to the station to "sort it all out", well...all except the guy Pete smacked in the first place who got taken to the hospital with concussion. They actually wanted to go Peter for assault but his legal guy got him off. But what really pissed me off was that I'd been hanging out for months to go out with this girl, she was just gorgeous and this was our first (and last) date!!! and look what happens....... She gets into a brawl,cops a black eye and some scratches, ruins $250 dress, gets hauled down to the police station in a paddy wagon, and then Ive got to take her home to her Christian parents at 3.30am (we were going to be home by 12.30 latest), then couldnt work out why I never saw her again True story....

I'd second the Pacific Hwy....it's a better road overall and, as others have said....a lot less trucks.. Watch the revenue cameras and you'll get a much better run if you leave Sydney around midnight or so....been my experience anyway

Im still wondering how my wife talked me into it…..going to visit the outlaws in Canberra for Xmas….the only city in Australia where just about every bloody thing shuts down completely at 9.00pm at night. She wanted to go for over a week, but I talked her down to 4 days…. figured that’s about all I could take. Our daughter and son-in-law live in a modest home in McGregor and they have a caravan in the front yard where we were supposed to sleep (another reason I didn’t want to be stuck down there for a whole week) :o We lob in on Xmas eve, do the pressie deal around the tree for the grandkids and go to bed about 1.00am. Its still hot and they give us a fan to keep cool……great idea except even on low speed it’s like trying to sleep under a helicopter about to take off……my missus starts snoring, ……then, not 5mtrs away in their bedroom, my son-in-law starts as well…..he can drown out the noise from a chainsaw with his snoring and by 2.30am,…. Ive had enough ….Im cursing myself for being to big a tightass to pay for a motel room (not that there was any free over Xmas anyway)… grab my pillow and keys and decide to sleep in the car. Its still hot and Im only wearing a Tshirt and shorts…..uncomfortable as buggery after origamiing my six foot plus frame into the back seat of the XR. Within an hour or so….it starts to cool down, lots, then it starts to rain (typical Canberra) and next I’m shivering and cramped up…..stuff this I decide that I’ll take my chances in the house rather than walk like a cripple for the next 3 days and give half my next pay to the chiropractor. After plugging my ears with two pieces of Kleenex, (all I could find in the dark) I settle down on the lounge at about 3.30am and just start to drift off when feel this "thump" on my chest……it’s their damn cat. After the cat has finished its flight down the hallway at the end of my foot the stupid bastard comes back not 20 mins later and does it again ……WTF? I’m starting to get pissed by now and give it another toss across the room only this time it runs into the Xmas tree….fully laden with decorations and lights,… it starts to lean……I dive off the lounge and grab it before it falls over….fumbling around in the dark trying to prop the damn thing back up again.. This time, the cat exits the front door about 2mtrs off the ground and doesn’t come back…..I settle back on the lounge, its now almost 4.30am. I swear I only blinked, that's what it felt like anyway, but in that time 2hours went past and I hear the kids coming down the hallway to see what Santa has bought them…….aaaaargh…. That was the first night of my Christmas vacation…..pretty cool eh’ We’ll see what the next 3 days bring I guess…….

Another good idea.... Also, Mrs Bionic has indicated that if she can make it,(she's currently trying to get out of a work commitment on the Monday)..... She may take the girls, and whoever else wants to come, for a run up to Belligen Markets on Sat. while the guys do something else....it's just a suggestion at this stage, but gives another option for those who may be interested ..... remember guys, it's all about enjoying the weekend... whatever you choose to do...

NSW-Qld Mid North Coast meet-up…..20-21-22nd February 2010. At the urging of some members, ACE (Matt) and myself have put together a cruise to the Valla Beach resort near Nambucca Heads to be held over the weekend of 20-21-22nd February. All members are welcome to attend this event and meet/put faces to names and cruise as a group during the weekend. The Route. Due to the distances and possible variations of routes involved in this cruise, we are not going to set a specific route to arrive at and/or depart our destination. Some members have indicated that due to other commitments, they would prefer to arrive/depart at different times and if they can post their location and preferred time of departure, others may want to meet and travel with them. In the interests of pleasing the majority, we (the Cruise Controllers) have decided to wait until late January to see when the bulk of members would prefer to travel and adjust travel plans to suit. However, cruises held whilst there will be organized and run according to the cruise rules ( see attached) and details will be given at the venue. CB radios will be a must have on this cruise and don’t forget to bring your chargers. We would ask that everybody who confirms for this cruise please PM. Matt (Qld) or myself (NSW) a mobile number so if you don’t turn up when you say you are going too, we can at least check to make sure everything’s ok.. The Venue Valla Beach Resort ... The Complete Family Holiday Valla resort has a lot to offer and their accommodation is keenly priced, (one of the reasons we chose a non-holiday weekend) and although they are having a price rise on 1st Feb., they have organized a discount for members who pre-book (first in-best dressed) but you must tell them that you are part of the XR6Turbo.com group. Some members may want to get together and share to offset costs even more. The resort has said that although reception closes early evening, they will organize to have keys ready for those who would be arriving late on Friday night. so long as you call them prior and give them an ETA. At this stage, Matt is setting up a cruise on Saturday followed by a dinner for all on Saturday night… washed down with a few cold ones back at the resort afterwards..... On Sunday, I will be taking a cruise up to Raleigh Raceway for some hot laps and possibly some other form of automotive fun....details to be advised (but any members who have their own helmet should bring it, just in case) Raleigh International Raceway After the raceway, we will be coming back to the resort for a BBQ and more refreshments.... We realize that some may want to do other stuff, and if they want to do their own thing and meet back up later, then that's not a problem either....., its all about everyone having a good time, whatever they choose to do. The resort also has car washing facilities and enough space for a possible photo shoot as well. So if you’ve got a camera, bring it with you. The one thing we would like to see is everybody at the dinner on Saturday night because it looks like being one of those nights we’ll talk about for a long time. Monday is reserved for cruising home after a decent nights sleep on Sunday night. As you can imagine, there is a fair bit of work involved in setting up a deal like this and subsequently, there is no "procrastinators list"....if you don’t think you can make it, or haven’t made up your mind, or have to get your Mum’s permission or whatever.... DON’T PUT YOUR NAME DOWN UNLESS YOUR 11O% SURE....we really need definite numbers of members (and whoever they intend to bring with them) to plan some of the stuff we want to do on the weekend and some of it has to be done in advance....so "maybe’s" "mightbe's" won’t cut it, ok? We would like to think that we would have an idea of definite, 100% numbers by the first week of February at the latest. We have the opportunity to have a great get-together on this weekend away and I’m sure all who attend will be glad they made it and we look forward to seeing/meeting many of you there.... Ok....Ive made a few enquiries regarding this and its starting to look really good.....so far, it would appear that the most practical date is the weekend of 20-21st February so put a circle around the calendar .. Still got a couple of things to finalise and expect a dedicated thread on this event by the end of this week.

Ha ha....chances are, I raced against him at some stage...my wife and I travelled all over the country following the championship.... I used to run 200 Clubman with a pair of Yamaha KT100S and 200 Super class with a couple of alcohol DAP reed engines....never bought a 135, but ran my mates a few times.....Ahh....good memories :laughrolling: Give my best to your Dad Reg Vesperman....Combined Districts Kart Club.

Ok,now what about accomodation? Valla Beach Resort ... The Complete Family Holiday For 40-50 odd bucks a night...the unserviced villas and cabins are not real dear.... But then again...I might go for one of the "serviced" cabins eh'....depends what the maid looks like I guess

In the interests of harmony....I can organise to put all three of you blokes in the same cabin ok....only thing is....I'd have to get a double with a single. I guess you could all stand around and "toss" or draw straws for who gets first go at the double eh'...... did I just say that?? bad choice of words I guess Can we kinda' get back on topic now please guys......

Red eye it?? You've had good ideas at times Mick....but this isn't one of them mate yep....and besides,think...Pacific Highway= holiday w/end= sh*tfight... In all honesty though, how and when members choose to arrive and leave the meet-up is entirely up to them....we all have different commitments and stuff to take into account so I would say that, as CC's, we will announce a start time and date and whoever wants to come then is all good....if others want to leave earlier or later, then so be it... Just as long as we are all up or down there by Sat. for a get-together then people can leave whenever they want.....sounds like the best compromise to me anyway.......

I wouldn't go setting dates just yet guys, Some-one should do some checking first to find out the dates of stuff like school hols.,D/demerit w/ends, availability of venue/accomodation and stuff ...... I also don't know how practical a two day deal would be either....and Sat night will probably take some getting over..... What I'd propose.....is a 3 day deal....sure, it means taking ONE day off but if we can plan ahead it shouldn't be the end of the world for those who are keen.... I reckon its better than trying to cram a lot of K's and socialising into 2 days.....we can do it over a 'normal' weekend and we should all get a good run to and from our destination. How about..... Both groups leave around midnight on Fri. night,....and we'd all be there for brekky....socialise,meet up with others from North Coast area, explore or sleep on Saturday day .....dinner and merriment on Sat. night... cruise and lunch somewhere on Sun....back to camp for dinner and a good nights sleep before cruising home on Monday......and were all back on deck Tues. morning I'd like to have more opinions or suggestions on this deal from those interested......
