  1. Rspec values seem to fluctuate at times..... I bought mine in Oct 15' for 22500......and that was a manual, fact. s/roof, with 110000k's.... Guy originally had it advertised for 25000.....car was factory stock.....no mods.
  2. I feel for you mate...... Late last year I lost my beloved BF XR6T.....a car I'd had from new, heaps of mods and I didn't know what to do regarding a replacement.... My wife suggested ungrading to an FG......but I'd spent so much time and effort getting the BF to where I wanted it and I'd driven a couple of FG's and they just didn't feel as nice as my BF.....another factor was the XR6 had been hit very hard in the near side rear quarter so virtually everything I'd put into it was salvagable..... After the crash I decided to buy the wreck back (Shannons only wanted 3500 bucks and the mods alone were worth 8000 or so it wasn't a hard decision) The decision to get another BF was common sense to me......most of the stuff in it wouldn't fit an FG anyway and I liked the feel of my BF so off we went searching......I was lucky enough to pick up my Rspec (No.147) for a reasonable price and spent the next month or so transfering all the bits from one to the other ......so glad I did it now..... Just have to work out how to post pics and I'll show you before and after shots....

  5. Currently trying to make up my mind between Pirelli Pzero's, Continental 5p's and Goodyear eagle's?.... Has anybody else any experience with these?....

  10. Yep....daughter No 1 (lives at Albion Park) was using it until daughter No 2 wrote it off.... Spent the last 3 months setting up the BF Typhoon I bought to replace it...

  18. Good to see you back Joe.....must have catchup soon mate...I'm on the comeback trail too......after losing my beloved XR6T I picked up a BF Rspec Typhoon. Reminds me.....must adjust my pic and profile now.......just gotta think of a new username?....

  20. Mrs. Territory is up for new rubber......currently running Bridgestone duellers 235 55 R18's that are noisy as buggery.... Car never sees off road and only does highway klms so what are our options?.... Budget runs to about 250 a corner......what are others running? Thanks guys....

  22. When I fitted an aftermarket intercooler to my XR6 I had it powdercoated satin black because I'm right into the stealth look..... I now have an F6 Typhoon and want to fit the same cooler to it but on the F6 the cooler is "supposted" to stand out...(it's all about maintaining a "factory"look).. So the question is.....what's the best way to remove the powdercoat?... Some have said to get it bead blasted....but I reckon that's gonna' leave a rough surface on the alloy? Another guy suggested getting it soaked in a caustic bath......but that's not going to be very kind on the alloy as well?.... I'm thinking paint stripper and a garden hose.......but I'm worried about getting left over crap stuck in the fins?..... Which way do you think I should go with this guys?.....advice appreciated....
  23. 1...Probably heaps.....haven't been game to check yet.... 2...Not a chance....car was only covered for market value so I only got about 10k for it.....bought the wreck back for 3500 because I wanted all my bits out of it (about 7k's worth)...
