Yeah...that's why I kinda' emphasised "obvious illegal mods".... Anyone who's "stock appearing" shouldn't have any drama so long as they keep their head pulled in.

If that's the case Rik....tell em' not to bother turning up ok... The last thing we want to do is give the police an excuse to go through the lot of us just because some tool turns up with obviously illegal mods.

Heaps actually..... Although with this many cars through the city on a Friday night.....we may get one wether we like it or not And that's why we expect everybody to be on their best behavour.....

Maybe has merit but how busy is it on a friday night about 9.00pm or so? I would have thought it would be pretty busy with the marina/pub/restaurants next door?....

We did a reccy on the whole route last night and they seem to be using the carpark as a compound for a whole bunch of roadworks stuff .....

Im selling a small truck on Ebay and bidders are asking about the "tare" weight. On the rego papers it says GVM is 4495.... How do you work out the tare weight?

Err...guys....it was a free country last time I checked , and really, their only car guys just like us....a little misguided maybe, but their the same as us. Our main motivation for not encouraging different makes on the night would be a case of purely numbers as we are going to be hard pushed to keep the Fords we already have together without including other makes into the mix and swelling the field even further. We had a combined night run/meet and greet with the guys from South Coast Commodores last year and it turned out to be a great night.....planning another one soon..

Be great to catch up Joe.... I'd love to mate....but Ive got too much to get done on Saturday.... Don't see why not Ben....haven't planned anything so we'll probably still be there mate. PM me your No.and I'll let you know ok...

Harry's Liverpool 8.00pm Saturday night 2nd April if anybody's not doing much.... Gary (g6et) and Damian are down from Queensland and are keen to catch up with any of the Sydney guys and gals. Havent planned any cruising as such but we may do something on the night? :popcorn:

My missus is a confirmed petrol head...sitting here glued to TV watching the AGP as I type this.... Our first date...a go-kart race...that I won no less.... She had a nice Mustang....sold it to buy a Bronco so we could tow our newly bought dragster (at the time) to the races. then used it as her daily driver.... Around the same era, I bought her a set of forged pistons for her birthday.....stoked can you believe it.... Drove me nuts wanting to have a go in the rail....so we got her a licence and because she as lighter than me, she ran the car to a PB at the time. Held the strip record for ladies at the old Canberra dragway. Initially, showed resistance to buing an XR6T because we'd only ever had V8's....talked her into trying it and after we modded it....rest is history. Now she's talking about selling it and buying a Typhoon..... I think Ive done pretty well really......

You must have been in a different nasho to me..... I went down there on Sat night hoping to try out some new shocks....was slippery as....soon realised I was wasting my time. After a couple of drifts towards the walls and the thing wanting to break traction every time it hit boost, the common sense gene kicked in and I took it home in one piece

Ok...just checked the radar and although it might be dry now....it's not gonna last long... it looks like a crap night to hit Mac Pass guys.....so I'm gonna knock this one on the head for tonight. A meet up at Harry's Liverpool looks like it could be a goer, only the way the weather is right now, I'd be taking an umbrella. I'm working on another run soon guys....sorry.

Yeah....says cloudy with possible scattered showers....but we've had that sort of forecast before and it's turned out to be all good.... That said however, if it does rain, I can't see it coming off.....too many rock walls, guardrails and that really fast trip to the bottom of the escarpment if you go over the edge would kinda' take the fun out of it for me anyway....at the end of the day, it's a common sense decision you know... It's a suck it and see deal I guess...
